Me thinks you overstate the issue.
Nobody is talking about a permanent ban, just a temporary pause, until all aspects of our vetting system can be looked at and improved.
You only need to look at the recent Cali shooting to know it's broken when radical burka lady can enter as easily as she did.

Not sure what percent of revenue is form ME customers to US airlines, but I would guess it would be rather easy for them to digest it in the current cycle of massive profits.

If it adversely affects ME airlines, I personally could care less, they are all subsidized by their governments.

Two people commit a mass shooting and you want to ban an entire religious group and start carpet bombing the mid east.  Yet almost all the mass shooting/murders in this country are not committed by those people.  Does anyone have any plan on how to deal with that little fact?  The answer seems to be a shrug of the shoulders and a "What can you do?"

Unbelievable, the leftist influence is so strong here it is unreal. I did not know that unionism was so heavily democratic. Yes all muslim immigration should be immediately stopped. Right now. I do not agree that there should be a simple wall built between the US and Mexico. That would be a waste of money. Why not spend twice as much and build a prison along the border. Roughly a fifteen hundred mile long prison with lots and lots of ten by ten cells to double as a wall. That will solve the problems with illegals walking across our border and solve our over crowded prison issue. Yes I think Trump is exactly what this country needs. I just wish he were running on an independent ticket and still be as popular as he is.

 

No one else seems to have an answer so maybe you do. How do you ban muslims?

Why are you limiting this ban on the ME? Does that mean that Muslims from Africa, Europe and other parts of the world are OK? If a Muslim from Pakistan hits the US are you going to ban all travel from Pakistan? What about a German Muslim? What about a US Muslim?

You seem to acknowledge that Trumps plan is ineffective and impossible but as long as we do something (even if it does not work) then that is a good thing.

Personally, I'd rather a well thought out plan be put into effect than waste time doing things that are obviously ineffective and doom ed to failure.
