Trump Wins.

The Country always see saws back and forth between Parties. The Democrats will regroup and change their messaging and will eventually take the flag again. They may have a hard time with JD Vance in 4 years however. He definitely has a lot more charisma then the last few Vice President’s and Vice President candidates.

Vance comes across like a Country Boy populist and he’s very smart.
I think this is different. I think the loud minority of the extreme left have acted like a bunch of insufferable douchebags and people are sick of it.

Couple that with DEI hiring practices (which are unconstitutional) and indoctrination disguised as "training, education, and entertainment" and people have had enough.

It was time to flush the Democrat garbage. It was LONG overdue.

Possibly the House, but definitely not the Senate in 2026.

The at-risk seats for the GOP are NC and ME. If both were flipped, that would still leave a GOP majority. Then there's GA and MI, currently held by Dems and could conceivably flip TO the GOP based on this month's election results.

Likely case, each party flips an existing seat. My money are on ME and GA swapping 1:1 and leaving the same majority in place.

Civil Rights Era voters are shrinking each year, and younger voters of color are increasingly questioning their elders' blind party loyalty.

That reflects their reality. Workers have made some inroads, but by and large what have traditionally been considered "good" jobs are harder and harder to come by. Unionization has ticked up incrementally, but not significantly-- same with manufacturing. Couple that with housing getting more & more out of reach every day and, well....
Latinos are likewise waking up to the reality of the the Democrats being the party of highly educated elites with liberal values that clash harshly with Catholocism.
I'm not a faith-based voter, but this is something that the left ignores at their own peril.

The loudest people at each end of the spectrum usually get the most oxygen. I think the boring reality is that most people just want good roads and good schools, ya know?

That said, the far left is obsessed with equality of outcome. They should focus that energy on equality of opportunity. That's harder to do, but is far more beneficial in the end.

Having been raised a Catholic, the only Republican value that the church holds is on abortion. Otherwise they are socially liberal.. They teach that Jesus fed the poor, healed the sick, and gave shelter to those without any. He didn't preach '"pull up your bootstraps and get a job.'.

But the abortion stance will always be there.

So looking at this link how many people do you feel we should try to help?

BTW plenty of Republicans are preaching the need for migration but they just want them to go about it the right way.

Oh and maybe a little appreciation and respect to the host Country would go a long way for more people not wanting to kick them out on their ungrateful keesters.
ARe you saying we should have more abortions to stop the stem of migrants? I simply said that the only GOP issues that matter to Catholics is abortion. Otherwise, they are more liberal on social issues. I think most Latino Catholics were voting on abortion and not immigration. And even then, the church would prefer that even the illegals be treated with at least SOME dignity instead of being referred to as vermin. Another part of the Catholic church teaches that "whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me"..

This is the reason we can’t keep looking to take care of everyone. We need to stop. 🛑

Hopefully DOGE is looked at seriously on both sides (Doubtful) so we can start to get our financial house in order. People saying it’s not going to work are just looking to become Venezuela or Argentina. (Before Milei)

And Trump is proposing more tax cuts to flood the Treasury with more cash.

I’ll let the next 4 years decide what the Trump Administration does or doesn’t do and how successful they wind up being.

Might be difficult trying to fix the economy and fight WW3 at the same time.

Michael Moore is even going after these POS War Mongers now

Well, seems they're not quite as enamored with LGBTQ+ issues as you think they might be, or human trafficking... But hey, you were raised Catholic some 40+ years ago. How many transgender students or pandemic related lockdowns were there back then?

Otherwise they are socially liberal..

My son is Catholic, and disagrees with you --- they're socially conservative and economically liberal.

In his words, without life, there is nothing else to be concerned about.

I can see where he's coming from: none of your other rights matter if you're not alive to have them.

Yea...I guess the latest vatican council did start preaching the "when I was hungry you told me to pull up my bootstraps and get a job.

Trans is kind of new...but the Catholic church was one that was accepting of gays...oh...it was a sin if two men had sex...just like it was a sin for two unmarried Catholics to have heterosexual sex. Other faiths said they either needed to get healed or spend eternity in the blazes of hell.

As far as trans - here's a shocker for you - I think that was one area tat the demcrats really need to take a step back on. Especdially the male to female, non surgical 'transgender'. Porn sites are more accurate in calling them "shemales". Muy daughtre was a college volleyball player and went to school in part on a Title iX scholarship. I don't think any player with a penis should be playing on a women's sports team. While I disagree with that stance, I don't agree with a lot more Republican issues. The funny thing is...I used to. But I don't agree with what MAGA has made the GOP. It's become a cult of personality and the Party of Trump. And after his antics aftert the 2020 elelction...culminating if fomenting an attack on our democracy by his toothless warriors who "misinterpreded" what he had been saying for two months following the election, should never have been allowed to run again.

America has become a reality show. And that's not a good thing.

Go ahead and say "Cult of Personality" about the GOP, and then try to describe Democrats without having Oprah, Beyonce, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift and Whoopie Goldberg to push their messaging...

I think what most Democrats hate most about "MAGA" is that the GOP found out they had people within the party who could connect and resonate with the average American. The party found their voice. Until then, GOP candidates were largely dry, boring, obtuse and somewhat out of touch.

It's not at all unlike when the Democrats discovered Obama had the same electoral super-power.

Peel it back, and you'll find MAGA and Hope & Change are almost the same approach.

Another trait that Reagan, Clinton, Obama and Trump all share -- they could communicate and connect with people, and make people laugh. I'll even throw Tim Walz into that group.

When other politicians try to imitate that but aren't genuine to begin with, they lose. Bigly.

Will President Trump be able to make all of this happen? Of course not. But if he can get a good portion of all of this through that would be a good thing.

Of course people who don’t want to admit that a lot of this is good for our Country will be against it anyway. Because all they’ll see for the next 4 years is the letters TRUMP.

Well..according to the lying liberal mainstream media, who just run clips of them actually saying this stuff, Trump has announced that tariffs are extended to Canada and Mexico. Next time you are at the grocery store, look in the produce section for the label "product of Mexico". Compare the price today to what it might be once this tariff gets implemented. If the price is higher, how do you blame Biden and the Democrats for this

On the entertainments side of the white house, Trump closest and most trusted "great guy" buddy, Elon Musk has a plan and boy oh boy are the Republicans eating it up. So much that they ignore Elon saying that "all Americans" will hurt. And all Americans should expect some "short term economic hardships". For a group that voted for change because of the economic hardships brought on my the previous administration, will they welcome additional economic hardships with open arms? Or will they wonder why, if they voted for change, are things still unaffordable . . This one is on the entertainment side since at some point there will be the clash of massive egos, and it should be fun to watch.

Fentanyl deaths are down. Border crossings are down. Trump imposes tariffs on the condition what has already happened, happens.

Then he can take credit and repeal the tariffs, when people notice the prices going up.
