THIRD QTR. PROFIT

a list of 10 or 100 things doesn't change the fact that you made a statement that you can't back up.

do you have data to support your statement or were you just talking out of your 89234?

That's rich - how many negative votes do you have on your statements

You can't bring yourself to say DL operating margin is down 47%

So don't lecture anyone on backing up statements we know you struggle with reading financial statements and you only deal in spin made up metrics

You would do well working on capital hill as a spin DR

Last I checked AA made more than DL in the only number that matters

Bless your heart

DL's pre-tax operating margin is HIGHER than AA's.

you can't bring yourself to even get the facts straight.

DL's NET PROFIT MARGIN is below AA's because DL accounts for taxes and gives its employees profit sharing.

If AA had done both of those same things, DL could have taken the charge for the 744s and still had a higher margin than AA.

I'm sure your AA employee peers are delighted that you are serving as their cheerleader while they look at their paychecks which are smaller than their peers at DL and UA and WN.

ponder once again that DL's profit sharing payout for the quarter IS HIGHER than its net income after taxes and specials.

the company's success will not be much to cheer about as AA employees continue to see their efforts going to everyone except themselves.

It is the exact strategy Parker used at US.

why anyone is surprised that he is doing the same thing at AA

Bless your heart

You can't help yourself

AA won and DL lost the game your predictions of DL having the best quarter didn't even come close

No amount of fantasy rationalization will bring DL back to #1

DL lost - I can't imagine what your therapy bis are like now

AA posted a higher net profit for the quarter - thanks to the contributions of its employees.

go team AA!

and keep cheering and don't look at your paychecks

AA"s success is more important than yours

Let's see and DL managed to drive down operating margin by 47% how much if that was profit sharing and how much was it brilliant strategy

So now we are saying the only reason AA outperformed DL was employee compensation

It's amazing to what lengths you can go to rationalize DLs lack luster actually amazing trashing of operating margin

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

"My lower paycheck helps AA win"

AA pays their employees in the same ballpark as DL  may be a few cents short or higher than dl  so take that and screw off jack

that's perfect.

yes, it is the same ballpark.

AA employees get a single to fist while DL employees are getting an out of the park home run.

yes, it is the same ballpark.

totally different hits.

That's right when DL reset it's costs by driving down employee wages - no one else thought if that - good thing for profit sharing
Amazing how you rationalize things
Saying that a large profit sharing check is great, is the same as saying that getting a large tax return from the IRS is great. I don't need a company or IRS, to manage my money. Give it to me in higher wages every two weeks rather than a lump sum that can be taken away, or reduced on a whim.

I prefer to keep my money in my pocket now, each payday, rather than having the company, or IRS, hold it all year only give it back to me.

apparently you fall into the same camp as saying that you would rather have a smaller check because you aren't smart enough to manage your withholdings elsewhere in the year to avoid a huge refund check.

of course WT most of us don't make 6 digit figures to post so its only natural fitting a DL priest would say what he said in regards to my post..   what a baffoon

I hope it doesn't break your bubble, but I am not a priest, don't get paid 6 figures, and don't get paid to post here or anywhere else.
