The twu just spit in your face!

Unreal! Everything posted here, conforms to the idiot belief of manipulation and pacification. Pull your freaking heads out and look more global. Identify the real enemy, begin to work together, and find a leader you can trust and one that has the balls to lead. Else you are all just pissing in the wind...literally. Sorry

You guys at WN are now the on the stage and the next group of AMT's at the sacrificial alter of the rich and powerful. The only question is can we unite not only the AMT's, but everyone one in this industry regardless of skill level to take on the real problem. Not to bust your bubble beliefs, but just think about this problem in broader and more global terms and you will see the path to success. IT IS NOW YOUR TURN. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
No bubble busted here.
We will keep trying to raise the bar on top passenger airline wage rates for all AMTs and protect our jobs at the same time.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

I am not interested in voting on the wage rates of stock clerks, truckers, bakers or candlestick makers.
ARE YOU?

The idea that one union can be all things for all different work groups in this country is BS.

Thinking globally will just lead to a local beat down.

Hell no, that is chickenfeed BS of the problem. I have done, and will do more effort, but not if the outcome is going to be a boat load of fools that cannot see the forest for the trees. Not that is you, just read this crap from a very concise global perspective and you will see my point.

OK give up and live your life of fantasy then. I cannot help you or any of those like you, My apologies, Please spell out your plan then?

Base rate for a US mechanic is $28.48.

Stock Clerk is $20.64

Utility is $18.45

Pretty large gap.

Wow the IAM facilitated concessions to these levels. What ancillary duties are included in these classifications?

Josh

Very well, good luck to you and yours.
Thank you.

Now back to reality.
I am not in a union to save the world, think globally and identify all the working mans enemies.
I want my union to fight locally, my direct enemy and get my work group the best compensation possible for our local families.

Save the pie in sky global stuff for the political rallies.

How's that working with WN planes being overhauled in El Salvador by Aeroman?

How about UA, DL and CO using HAECO in Hong Kong?

How about you answer the questions posed to you before you ask more?

How do you like stocking the shelves in your garage?

You will have to ask US Airways, the IAM and the NMB why they are still on the same CBA since the certification was changed in 2006, yet the TA was agreed to in 2008.

How do you like it that WN outsources more heavy checks than it does in-house?

I like that there can be no layoffs at SWA while work is being outsourced.
This alone gives me and my fellow AMTs the best job security in the industry.
SWA has always outsourced and always will.

I have already guessed why the stock clerks are still on the mechanics CBA. You just won't admit it.

Yeah, and US outsources as much as it does in-house. At least SWA is paying good money while outsourcing, and has layoff protection while outsourcing. US is 2nd bottom compensation while still giving away half of it's heavy

US also has a no layoff clause and is in the first section 6 negotiations since chapter 11.
