The twu just spit in your face!

The IAM facilitated UAL outsourcing MIA and MHT to Air Wisconsin before the merger, they are IAM members too so the IAM didn't lose dues only the members lost their jobs or had to relocate. And during the NW BK they did the same thing, plenty of posts to that effect if you search.

And it wouldn't surprise me if they struck a backdoor deal with UAL in the failed TA to have ZW or other IAM vendors handle the outsourced stations (all but 7 come 2017). ZW already handles UAX at IAD.

And actually joshie you are wrong again, the IAM does lose dues money a UA mainline employee makes way more than an express employee, so dues is usually two times the hourly wage, so if a UA mainline is making $20 an hour dues are $40 a month an express agent makes $10 hour so their dues are only $20 a month, thats a 50% reduction in dues money.

So try again.

Josh
The IAM does not facilitate outsourcing, that would be the company. And UAX is not owned by United, they are outside companies, not even subsidiaries of UA.

Does a pilot flying for UAX make the same pay as a mainline UA pilot or does a UAX FA make the same as a UA FA?

Bottom line is the pilots facilitated outsourcing of flight, and mainline doesnt own the work of express.

It's already on.

The fight against the working class in this country was started a long time ago, but you know that...
Yes but this, pie in the sky, industry wide fight against the man, ain't gonna ever happen in this country.

Just show me who is leading this fight and show me the unions ready to stand together in this fight.

The thread is The twu spit in your face.

The iam/teamsters are assisting in your face getting wet.

All three "unions" do not care about our craft and profession. All three are strife with unaccountability and deal making.

Our profession is a craft profession and we deserve to be in a craft union

Go AMFA!

One huge problem Ken is that here in Tulsa the Teamster supporters know nothing about how the pension fund will be pillaged by them. When I ask them to research for themselves they just don't. This is the mentality we are dealing with here. I find it funny though how they believe all that the Teamsters tell them but none of what we try to tell them. We are destined to be outvoted by a bunch of under informed, sheep once more.

Lets ask Tim and see what he says I imagine he will have something different to say.

The IAM would rather have UAL outsource to ZW than other vendors, you know that and you know they encouraged more RJs and Express personnel. They didnt put a fight for CO cargo handling getting out sourced. Why didnt the fighting machinists put up a fight when UAL outsourced MIA & MHT? Why are Sito Pantoja, Ira Levy, and Rich Delaney calling the POS T/A a monumental, unprecedented agreement?

Josh

The IAM doesnt tell UA or any other airline who is the vendor, the contracts for vendors are put out for bid and UA chooses whom does the work.

I guess you will have to ask Sito, Ira and Rich those questions.

And Tim isnt a UA employee nor UA management.

The fighting machinists rolled over to the give the company exactly what they want, just like at Caterpillar and Lockheed Martin.

You don't work for AA, UA or US yet you come on here as the expert of negotiations and union matters now don't you?

Josh

Thats because I am educated and experienced.

Can you say the same in regards to the RLA and unionized airline employees?

You worked as a stock clerk eight years ago, ushered in concessions, cheer on concessions from other workgroups, call for solidarity yet cover up the IAM missteps like scabbing AMFA at NWA, abandoning the TWA workers, etc.

Josh

You are truly mispeaking.

Our CBA was abrogated, do you know what that means?

We never reached an agreement with US.

The IAM performed work in their CBA at NW.

They arbitrated the TWA Seniority and spent $5 million alone just on the flight attendants.

I won a $15 million arbitration case against US and helped with the $300 million dollar win in the airbus outsourcing.

What have you done?
