Once again the APFA proves that there is a union that has a pair.
The macho pilots- wimped out.
The tabacco chewing, red necked, gun toting, gentically confined tough guys of the midwest showed that they are more afriad of a full days work than poverty. Everything and anything is expendable, especially dignity.
Our 7000 yessens should ask you to teach them how to be men!

You''re entitled to your opinion, but I suspect you''re wrong.
I agree, Now with this little extension, lets make more of those yes votes turn into NO votes. This is dispicable that our union would try to get more time because they didn't like the outcome. APFA f/a's stand for what they beleive in. Good for us
First AA has to negotiate in good faith before there is any chopping going on. Also we will be negotiating from our present levels. No one else will. Further cuts will come off what you have already offered. BK is coming with a yes or no vote.
"With almost 10,000 jobs hanging in the balance, and the future of 100,000 employees at stake, we agreed to take this risk and make this investment for our employees because we believe that all employees will be better off if we can save jobs and restructure our costs consensually rather than through the bankruptcy process," AMR Chairman Don Carty said. Consentually?? So I guess that Don Carty considers rape consentual if he only "threatens" to kill her if she does not submit!!!

Here comes the judge....chop 'em, slice 'em, gut 'em....there goes your contract.

What contract?
The TWU no longer has one. However they still get to collect dues. The best move the FAs ever made was forming their own union years ago, and guess who they left? The TWU. They could not go to the AFA because of the AFL-CIO.
Solidarity Forever, as long as you do as I say, is the TWU way.
