Yes to both.

We gave up shift differential a contract or two back and just got it back. I don't have my contract with me but it's in the 50-60 cents range. I can be more specific later.

Longevity starts around year 10 or 11 and its 25 cents an hour for each year of service.

I've been saying that I've been reading that shift differential is in every new contract I've been reading out there, including the PSA at AA.

So when do you guys vote?

25 cents an hour for each year of service? So that would mean a guy like me with 30 years would get $7.50/hr longevity pay? Or am I reading that wrong?  If not, Wow, that's fantastic!!! Now I really cant wait for the company to come through with its promise of a great contract sometime in the future.

Cant wait!!! So awesome the company promised us all of this, I really am getting a positive attitude now that I know sometime in the future the company is going to come through with a great contract... This makes me really want to get out there and do extra stuff, just to help the company. Especially now that I'm going to get a little bit of profit sharing maybe sometime in the future. This is so cool the company promised me profit sharing in the future.  Now I know I'm really going to get out there and ask to do extra things to help the company out.

I have such a positive attitude now, I cant wait for the new hires to see such an old cranky guy like me that was so negative before just giddy with a happy positive buzz about the direction our great company and union leadership is taking us especially in light of them giving us all this money sometime in the future.

Signed,
Greedy, lazy, whining airline mechanic.

As I said, didn't have the contract with me at the time.

1200-1759 is 51 cents
1800-0559 is 58 cents.

Longevity tops out at 20 years, so 5 dollars is the max.

Wow!!!  $5 longevity!! This is great, I hope I get that in my contract. The company is so awesome, I'm so happy, all this stuff is coming in the future for me me!!!!

Can't wait!!!!

Ok Bogey, good stuff.

The shift diff sounds like another "restore" item and the longevity, easily is a "and more" item.
$5 per hr longevity for anyone with 20+ yrs, basically all of us.

I'm going to wait and see , but I'm dubious of the company giving this item to the mechanic and related.

You can go from doubtful to positive on  not getting that kind of longevity. A larger premium on your licences is more likely for you. Might as well get paid for what you know

Are you sure about this longevity formula? If true that is one heck of a longevity plan!

Positive. No longevity for the first 10 years when you hit top of scale. Then 25 cents an per year of service. So you start at 2.50 an hour in year 11 and add 25 an hour each year for the next 10 for a max of 5 an hour.

And how many people are in your workgroup combined?

Surely not the thousands and thousands that are in other workgroups.

Looking at the seniority lists it looks like the longevity plan is good for the upper two thirds of the group now, others will have to put in a few years to get it. A good deal none the less and not a chance in Hell that M&R will see anything close!

I see 3% above the top and increases on your license premiums just like Worldport said?
