Sun Country and AMFA met for first time with NMB mediator. Not as much progress as in the Spirit/AMFA mediated session but as usual typical first meeting of intro's and discussions on where all parties are and where they will be moving into in the next sessions.
Nice to see the nego's back up and running again...

Any Sun Country mechanics that might come here. Do yourselves a favor and abandon ship 🚢

AMFA is not going to be able to get you a good contract or maybe even any at all with what’s happening with the LCC and ULCC in the industry. The dominoes are starting to fall.

And don’t even try to tell yourselves that the Trump administration is going to release you to strike. You have a better chance at seeing pigs fly.

Get your job applications in now for AA, UAL or Delta in that order. AA is hiring right now all over America.

Nah, you guys are nuts. Sun Country is actually doing OK and has a history of stability.... Possibly more stable than being a new hire at AA. The guys working there chose not to work at Delta.

Doesn’t matter if Sun 🌞 Country is stable or not. They’re small with far less opportunities than any of them would have with the big 3.

Long term career wise what do you think is the better move?
