Status of A350 Order

oh, pish posh. It's just an airplane with fancy names for everything.
But I agree, adjusting those electric seats is confusing. Took me a while to figure 'em out.
Cheers.

While I am sure that scenario does play out occasionally, I don't think it's at all prevalent.  It would be interesting to see the statistics on long-time Boeing/Douglas drivers (and their ages) who actually do wash back or wash out.  I doubt it would be a significant number.  Money can be a huge motivator toward accepting Airbus-think.

All pilots junior to me have no problem in AB school. For them its easy.

....and you?
Like I said, for guys junior to me it was easy.  For guys senior to me it is just plain grizzly (they should avoid it like the plague!).  For me it was just right.

They now have nine 777-300s, your count is off:

Anyone with out an agenda can plainly see that where this person cut and pasted the info merged the list together, so if you remove the " 2 Super ATR '" then the number 9 would be correct, the following 777-200 list 47, which would show that he was correct, no need from you to make an attempt at calling the person out as being wrong.

To 2014 now it's 2017.
The order delay happened in 2009.  From the article you linked:

Originally, US Airways was to get its first A350 in 2014. In 2009, it announced the schedule had slipped to 2017, with all to arrive by the end of 2019.

AirbusA310 is correct.   The first deliveries were pushed back from 2014 to 2017 in 2009.    The only recent change is that all will be -900 models instead of 18 of them being -800s.

Nine-year wait for new aircraft orders

So if you are an airline that has not ordered already, you are going miss out on a lot of growth.”

Analysts warn that American airlines (NasdaqGS: AAL - news) could be the hardest hit.
“If you look at the American airlines, their profitability is satisfactory and their planes are commendably full, but they need to order capacity and they arguably haven’t,” said Mr Morris.

That quote is bizarre given AA placed an order for 460 aircraft in July 2011.  Also, once AA and US integrate fleets and complete deliveries of the A321s, the combined airline will have almost 300 A321s.  That's a decent capacity increase given those A321s are replacing B733/B734 and M80 aircraft.
