SUBJECT: Special MEC Meeting Notice for Tuesday/Wednesday, Sept. 21 and 22, 2004
In accordance with Article IV, Section 3 (D) 2 of the ALPA Constitution and By-Laws, MEC Chairman Bill Pollock hereby notifies the MEC that a Special MEC Meeting has been called by MEC Members: Captain Michael Cross, First Officer Lance Svendsen, Captain Bob Sauer, First Officer Don Baier, Captain Leo Guerrero, First Officer Ray Belz and First Officer Garland Jones commencing on Tuesday September 21, 2004 at 12:00 noon Eastern.
The meeting shall adjourn on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 5:00 p.m., or at the completion of business.
The Special MEC Meeting will be held at the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park, 5700 Westpark Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217, phone: 704-527-9650, fax: 704-527-7458.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1) An update from bankruptcy counsel and advisors.
2) Opportunity of member pilots in good standing to address the MEC.
3) Update from the Negotiating Committee on the status of negotiations and discussion of related matters.
4) MDA Update.
