Saw the latest crew news. What did LG do to you guys? You can actually see the loathing these three F/As have for her. I would compare it to Lorenzo or Icahnjimntx said:jcw, FWIW pay for actual flight time only works in one direction--to the benefit of the f/a. There is a block time--door close to door opening--assigned to each leg. If the actual block time is less than assigned time, we still get paid assigned time. If actual is greater, we get paid actual. I had a flight last month that was blocked at 3 hours, 45 minutes. Due to extreme tail winds, we arrived at DFW more than 1 hour early, we got paid 3 hours and 45 minutes flight pay for a 2 hour, 32 minute flight. (Note to IORFA: Get ready for the 2nd coming. Our scheduled arrival gate was not occupied AND there was an agent available to operate the jetbridge!!! )
One had only 2 years the others were coming off long leaves. That is miseryjimntx said:Beats me. Other than they needed someone to blame because they are miserable, and that misery can not possibly be their own fault.
Unbelievable. Any chance ya can post a link to the FAs 6%? I`m sure the fellas will love to hear this news as we are working OTS aircraft tonight at the discounted DWH AMT rate. Good for the flight attendants, at least someone is enjoying some raises. It certainly is not the AMTs who keep these jets safe and airworthy.Doug decides to give the FA's a 6% raise early because he didn't think UAL FA's would take so long to get a contract. That will put the FA's at $60.13 an hour starting April 1st. Their 4th raise since merger.
The mechanics have nothing and are not expected to get anything until 4th qtr. Meaning the mechanics will get less in profit sharing too. Profit sharing, what a nice surprise.
Thanks to all the people complaining to Doug during townhall meetings reminding doug of our displeasure.

Remember though, that $60.13/hr is for top of scale f/as. You have to have 13 years or more to get that amount.bigjets said:Doug decides to give the FA's a 6% raise early because he didn't think UAL FA's would take so long to get a contract.
