Mesa is damn near bankrupt, they don't have the money to buy Piedmont or PSA. There's a far better chance that Mesa goes out of business.
Gee, if Mesa goes out of Business, that will leave US totally at the bottom All By Themselves, no one will even be close to keep US company. :huh: :unsure:

I hope Mesa doesn't go out of business before my lawyer can get a paid settlement out of them for running me over.

There are reports from people with knowledge of CHQ "executive suite" discussions that US Airways is once again in M&A discussions (this should not come as a surprise). This time I'm not sure of the potential suitor, but it would not surprise me if US Airways' partner could be UA or AA.

Furthermore, I believe the reason the company is moving forward with new labor agreements is that senior management wants to be fully integrated before the next merger, which could be announced in the not-to-distant future.

Regards,

USA320Pilot

Probably UA, with the sandcastle remaing the top brass, but keeping the UA name. IMO though, if the sandcastle remains in charge, we are all doomed. :lol: :lol: :lol:

This group is way ....way over their heads.

If the public, the investors, the board only knew just how incompetent Doug and his cohorts really are.

They can't run USAirways...let alone a much larger carrier. God help us all.....

Well with the expected NW/DL merger announcement early next week, I would expect that CO and UA will follow shortly after that. CO is not going to be left out and although I would love to see CO and AA merge, I think the UA scenario is much more likely....leaving US where?

Looking back on US airways last 4 CEO's I know the one in the chair now is still the best and the company is still around.

and exactly what is your comparision ....

I would rather see this place close down than those pecker-woods in Tempe inflict their haphazard tacky style on another proud airline.

Tell me about it. Can you imagine US and UA combining and keeping the United name only to have these Yahoo Crackers running the show. Imagine a Usairways of that size. Oh we'd ALL be doomed. :lol:

the best? at what? keg stands?

i am sure the management at real airlines are salivating over the prospect of parker taking the helm of any combination of carriers--it would mean more mass migrations of fflyers;
more poor, if laughable operational decisions; more employee hatred....
