Rules For The Ramp..Title Edited

joe,
funny you say that.. just mention that last night.. WHY is it that while working if your feet get wet.. YOU have to go the bathroom

but .. while sitting at one of JOES famous pool parties. you sit by the pool and put your feet in the water .. life is great..

in both cases your feet are still wet... can't figure that out..

42. Sunglasses mandatory, Oakleys or Ray-Bans optional.

The more you pay for sunglasses the sooner they will be lost or broken. Get to know your ramp merchants they can come in handy.

True, the merchants who work the bag chute get all the good gear. The ABR runners get a hold of some sweet stuff as well. Gotta keep commerce flowin.

47. Know where you are and WHAT breakroom your in so that you know what you will be watching.. lets see team 4.. 5:00 Andy Griffin

smoke room t4 a.m VH1 classics.. maybe sportscenter in main break rooms. AND remember if you have less seniority then the batteries

in the remote.. DON'T even think ABOUT changing the channel.

48. The rumor mill runs continuously on the ramp. These stories usually begin with the words "Did you hear what..........". Listen to the story, embellish it, and pass it on. Always be aware that more than likely the facts were already distorted by the time you hear them. If the rumor happens to be about yourself denial will do you absolutely no good. The rumor mill is way too powerful. Once started it cannot be stopped.

Soo True...Soo Sadd...There was a rumor about me on the DCA ramp once a time ago...couldn't stop it but it was fun to embellish the rumor and spread it the way I wanted to...poor shmucks didn't realize there was only one of my kind around :)

The best thing you can do to slow the "mill" down is to just admit your guilt. Spin the tale in your favor and move on. If you don't you might be subjected to Rule #21.

49. Ramp rats are known to use nicknames. These nicknames are usually given for a good reason. If you happen to get one hung on you, adopt it, embrace it and use it as your own because chances are good you earned it somehow.
