Respect Or Insult

Maybe you can convert it to a shelter for the homeless or if amfa gets in it could be used for the jobless. B)
Fear, Fear, Fear, I never hear any solutions from you, all I hear is Fear.

You are one strong union officer aren't you?

AMFA will inherit the exisiting contract. Doesn't the current contract have job security provisions and outsource restrictions? If yes, then why your fear?

I notice how tight you are in that Local 530/AA Management co-operation coalition. You have a management job lined up when AMFA wins?

I think you really just favor a company union now that you have had your own lips involved in the TWU's management services arrangement.

TWU- Screwed you out of seniority
TWU- Screwed you out of 737 work
TWU- Screwed you out of 17.5% pay
TWU- Screwed you out of vacation time
TWU- Screwed you out of Holidays
TWU- Screwed you out of sick pay
TWU- Screwed you out of shift premium
TWU- Screwed you out of longevity pay

You like it that way don't you mojo?
I hear that's how they gain supporters, they get you in there, and once you "participate" in the act, you are willing for life.

The solution can and never will be to keep the twu. Maybe you have not been listening to the line guys, they will never accept the twu as their bargaining agent. Therefore unless we change there will always be a major division. The line guys are the strong arm of our union, clean the wax out!!! If that were the only reason it would be enough.

mojo, I first met you in MCI at an AMFA informational meeting. You supported AMFA then. Now you are a twu officer. But you write to Dave saying you can't support the twu. Which is it?

By the way mojo, do you feel insulted or respected with the AIP check?

The division was created when the TWU created the B-scale and it's successors.

Do not be so sure that the merger of TWA did not create more division than you seem to realize. You lost your seniority and if it is ever granted the TWU supporters in TUL will so you what division is. Maybe you, Mojo, do not seem to realize that it is the TWU supporter in TUL that despises you having any seniority at all. If I were you I would revisit Kasher to see if you have a way to save your seniority in the future.

You haven't figured that one out yet Ken? I used to ba an amfa supporter when I thought the grass was greener over there. Now amfa has a track record that is pretty damn scary. amfa has no resources, TWU does.

Buck, the seniority issue is dead. That's the way sh*t happens.

The division we created?

How about those with seniority and those without?
How about those with license pay and those without?
How about those with skill premium pay an those without?
How about those with credited experience and those without?
How about those that received early out packages and those that want one?
How about those they call OSM's and those they call Mechanics?
How about the B-Scale, where some topped on in 9 years and others in 5 years?
How about the Line versus Overhaul division?
How about those that got a ballot and those did not?
How about those the get removed from office for dual unionism and those that dont?

Did AMFA supporters cause these divisions? NO

You are nothing more than a pathetic indsutrial unionist sympathizer that seeks other to blame for that which the TWU is responsible for...

...The members CAN NEVER make the TWU stronger because they are in control of the TWU. That's the whole point. Get it?

Yeah, those that speak the truth usually do anger and cause repulse in those that ride the fence and tell people what they want to hear.

I will stick to the truth and stand for my beliefs, you go ahead and swim in the cess pool.

Ignore this, mojo...

Dave, I would appreciate you keeping this e-mail to yourself.

There is no way I can defend the TWU. We here at MCI are still in a learning curve as to the ways of the TWU. The mindset of the local and it's members are still IAM. We do not know the history of AA and it's relation with the TWU except for what we read on the BBs and what we learned through the transition team (and that was not much). With what little time I have been involved I can see a daily frustration between ourselves and TWU. I did get involved because it was a fresh start, a new company, a new union and I thought that maybe this would be my opportunity to help shape our local into something positive. That is not going to happen here no matter who the Union is. To many oldtimers set in thier ways. When the oldtimers retire and new blood is here then maybe things will change. The e-board here busts their ass for the membership and still there is no respect from the company or the membership, because we just don't know what we are doing yet.

Let me tell you the way it really is here at MCI... When the IAM left, the IAM people who were involved with the union just switched coats and became TWU. If AMFA was to get in, those same people would switch coats again and be AMFA. People want to #### but no-one wants to get involved. When your members don't want to step up to the plate, all you get is the die-hard rhetoric that we are all used to hearing.

I agree with Chuck Schalk when he said that if the TWU is so sure of itself, then lets have a vote and get it over with. My personal opinion is that you guys will kick their ass at a debate, but which debate will get the headlines?

AMFA@DFW ,(who I think is **** ******** but I'm not sure,) wants to turn this thing into a circus. I am not willing to stand up and debate or defend the TWU because my loyalty is just not there. Like I said in my post, there are more qualified people to do that.

again, this is where I'm coming from and please keep it confidential.
