Miami - you have real problems. You find fault when we acknowledge the gifts that an AA f/a has. I think that if we would praise anyone you would find fault just because that is your personality. The only one I hear moaning is YOU!

I think Thelma would have been a great President!
A classic case of "i make myself feel better by belittling others," Syndrome....pissing and moaning TWAers and furloughees. What a huge threat we have always been to you, NOT.
I think you piss and moan more about us. Flipflopping between "can't wait till you're all back," to constantly downing us. Remember we're the ones that have a reason to piss and moan, not you You have a job. And it makes me ill to think that you're probably the type person that takes the attitude you show on here to onboard the aircraft. There are so many excellent professional people on the street because of your hero who should be working instead.
Give me one example where anyone from TWA has said anything positive about APFA or AA. I have said that I hope everyone gets called back, regardless of whether I agree with their opinions or not. Believe me I work with some people that I wish would quit, but I don't wish them furlough. On the other hand, any time someone has a different opinion about TW we are categorized as having issues or belittled in one way or another. I don't have any "hero" at AA. Its my workplace and I enjoy my job. I don't doubt that there are a lot of professional f/a's on the street right now, but I think what really makes you ill is the fact that you made a choice to stay with a failing company and things didn't work out the best for you. I do hope things turn around for you.

i made a choice to stay with a company and a workforce that I loved and beleived in. I could have gone anywhere but I knew how good we had it with our combined Ozark AND Twa work groups. My company didnt fail...as you so much like to call it. Your former airline did and you had to start over with AA. Thats why you begrudge us getting a crumb. And that's the truth.

....but what would you expect from someone that spells Miami with two aa's. When he was born his "maami" threw the baby out (the one with the brain) and raised the placenta.

Yet another example of how professional the TW'ers get when someone disagrees with them.

I'm just stating that you defintely didn't want us to get anything from YOUR company because YOU had to start over when your company went out of buisness/ceased/stopped operating/failed to survive. We were aqquired remember. Just be honest about your motives and limited idea of cohesion.
I could begrudge all my Ozark friends for going ahead of me on the seniority list or begrudge that I would not have been furloughed in '91 during the gulf war had we stapled/screwed them, like you did us. I don't begrudge them one bit, and I don't know anybody that does. It's the luck of the draw and we all benefitted from that marriage in some way. People like you just can't see beyond what is going to benefit you! And unfortunatly that is representative of alot of you. I wish it were'nt, it could have been nice.

You also need to remember that AA wanted TWA - so that no other airline would take us and cause them additional competition.

You don't have to be from Braniff (like me) or Eastern or Pan Am or even from another failed carrier to agree with the seniority agreement.

If you think you got screwed then why not move on? Why continue to vent your frustrations with APFA and AA? Your not working here, wouldn't it be easier for you to start somewhere fresh where you don't have bad feelings? Would you come back if AA recalled you?

This thread is about the leadership of APFA. My question is do you want to be a productive part of APFA's future or not? It sounds like most of the TW'ers just have vengence in mind. I just think its time to move on. If we move on we will better positioned to gain a better contract next round. If you stay bitter about seniority or who the president is then the company will win.

The company wone..... so they think!..... when YOU voted for DFW, Dr. Jackle and Mr. Hyde!

The TWA people appear to be reacting with the typical belligerence and desperation you see in people who know they have already lost the battle.

Grow up.
