QC off the b checks

Or is it just the work that the line can't or doesn't have the time to handle??
Does it matter. We are on the same airport working the ots that they do not have time to do. This is yet another concession the worthless union gave the company.

I pointed out that JFK and MIA are getting the BCs out and DFW is not. Bob said that wasn't true about JFK. I'm not bragging about DFW, I am surprised after getting spanked over the 737 and 757 write up games and subsequent pulling if those checks we haven't learned. I would not be surprised if the people who look stupid are the ones tanking the 777 BC. Were the inspectors missing that much that it now takes three to four days to finish the check? Sure makes our QA brothers look bad. Why does JFK and MIA not have the same problem. This union needs a strategy

For you to make this statement, "WOW" it must just kill you. You an many other TWU supporters have questioned us the members whom support AMFA, what's our or AMFA's plan if we bring amfa here? What plan did they have at NWA has been your cry.

Yet we have asked YOU and others, what is the TWU's master plan, since we just seem to continue to spiral downward.

It is going to take the combined effort of the TWU/IAM/IBT/AMFA the unions which represent many in this industry to work together to undo the changes to our industry and make it again a fun and great place to work. As long as these unions battle to be the top dawgs constant fighting, we the airline workers will suffer.

The TWU supporters say that AMFA is not AFL-CIO affiliated so what. This labor organization (afl-cio) has done what for us? You talk about numbers and strength with them.  Why haven't the leaders of these union said lets divide the groups into specific work groups. each taking a class and craft. Since as union member we are supposed to support one another during strife.

If that happened each class and craft will have its own union through out the industry and if any carrier went down the standard for pay and benefits will be the same.
If you had to change jobs you can maintain the life you had.

This is something that would be a great move but the TWU is NOT a forward thinking union, it's a company pet. Looking out for itself to keep the dues coming in.
A Union is supposed to be about the workers, "BUT" it has become about the union in the last twenty yr's or so.

It's Time to make a change that will make a difference, it's time for the mechanics in my class and craft to VOTE, which is the only fair way to decide who we pay these due too.

AMFA at AA in 2014

two's "master plan"... concessions begat concessions

Rumor is every place equipped to the 77b check is saturated and has no space so it will stay DFW. Im not so sure about this rumor though, doesn't Tule have space? I'm sure they would take it.

Rumor is that once DWH catches up that DFW 777 BC will become a part of regular work at DWH.

Strictly rumor that DWH is going to be a planned BC station.  If/when DFW get's un-backlogged, the BC's will go back to DFW.  There is other work needed to be done at DWH that is being put on hold while the 777 BC's get caught up.

We do not have the manpower at DWH for B checks and all of the drop ins. DFW gets 30 mechanics a shift for b checks, we get 4 or 5.

I would not be so sure. LAX is looking to steal work from DFW and DWH.

LAX has no 777 overnight. If anything ORD or MIA would make more sense if anybody was to steal work.

We have been told that they would schedule a trip to LAX if say an engine change was scheduled for the 777.

Agreed. Have you talked to Pike? You should get line pay.
Sure we should. However as long as the worthless union is "representing" us, its not going to happen. If anything "dwh" will expand into the hangars at dfw. Imagine how pissed off those guys will be when they lose line pay! You know the company put that language in the cba for a reason. I hope I`m wrong.

If the managing Director at DFW/DWH does not want the work or the flight schedule for what ever aircraft does either go to MIA or LAX it would not be that they stole work.

Now your trying to cause a rift between cities, saying that TWU members steal work from one another, taking bread from the tables of others.

Give us a break here O/Spin I know the TWU promotes this IGM attitude here at aa, but to come up with that bs even from you is way out there.

Work is placed on available hanger space, number of workers available to do the work, marketing, flight schedule need.

IT'S NOT MOVED Because any TWU members want to steal another cities work.

Any city will take work on if it will bring heads and better shifts, days off.

Lots of guys are stuck on shifts away from family because of shift and days off so to get the chance to have a better home life why would any one say to management we don't want the work?

Typical TWU, cause enough KAOS among the membership so that they don't work nice together and they will not get involved that way the TWU scammers can be the shepherds leading the flock. Just feed them enough bs they will never know, great way to have a strong union O/S. Next you will be saying the officers of the Line local 591want to take work from O/H.
