Yes STL was over 90%  125 Yes/11 No (we will not include the small group of 5) and PHX was 91% 1187 YES/115 No

And Yes Snap, the breakdown was interesting.

Those were my thoughts as well with the 5, very odd...

STL? That's your best attempted comparison to PHX? From Hope777: "Yes STL was over 90%  125 Yes/11 No (we will not include the small group of 5) and PHX was 91% 1187 YES/115 No"

I respect that everyone had to choose and vote as they best saw fit, but with an overwhelming majority of 1,187 ayes, versus 115 nays; I'll have to stick with my earlier observation on PHX:"It's a sad given that the PHX cult of invertebrate "spartans" will naturally vote in favor of well, pretty much anything, (98% for the MOU) and are a complete waste of time to even consider...it's at least easier to understand PHX being overly dazzled just by hourly rates "you'se" never before even dreamed of...while remaining predictably barren of the brains needed to understand the overall picture at any level."

Oh well. What's done is done.

Is it me but doesnt this sound somewhat similar to how DL handled the two pilot groups during the DL n NW merger to make an easier integration thing?

only a little

DL and NW pilots were both represented by ALPA.

both parties agreed to the financial aspects of the merger before it was announced.

An SLI with fencing of the largest widebody aircraft on each side came later but fairly quickly.

And, now that the JCBA wars are over, the pilots can get back at each other's throats over the SLI.  This should provide nearly a year of entertainment, leaving me then with only a few months of forum boredom before retirement.  It will be a good "winding down' opportunity.

Believe me once you get past the shiny nickel, the pay rate, the company with the bankruptcy era contract will not be having any problems.  The pilots are paying for this stipend, Glass and the boys have made sure of that.
$4Billion in profits last year.  $6+ Billion this year...

The pilots have proven there will never be any reason to bother to waste another single minute on the "union".  The sheep will never show any interest in negotiating...  the majority don't even know they are ignorant about negotiating.

It's time.  I'm going to open up a dealership to sell sand the PHX pilots, wind to the ORD pilots, and sunshine to the LAX pilots.   No need to wish me luck.  I already have millions in pre-orders..

Okay..I've listened to you guys for a couple of days. Lord have mercy....you sound like a bunch of teen aged girls.

SMDH...

Now after having said that...would one of you please post your new JCBA?

Not only I'm I interested in your contract but your Work Rules...that may impact the F/As.

What is your Implementation Time Line?

How is PBS going to be addressed? Do you have any written parameters in your contract going forward ? Or are you just going to ride off the back of the F/A group on this? Yes, we are working it...

And while I'm at it...at some point, I remember, the AA pilot group had agreed to a "preference" for airport hotels while in BK. Has that changed? Or is this something going forward?

Also....Weight & Balance  for Jump Seat? What's going on with that? That's something the USAirways flight crew members have never had to deal with. It was contractual that we couldn't be bounced off the the JS due to weight & balance....

Perish all thoughts about the LUS pilot contract. It ceased to exist for the most part when the pilots signed the MOU. The AA Green Book, even after these 'negotiations' is a giant step backward for the LUS crowd.
It is sad and ironic to think back on the LOA93 days as 'the good old days'.
Cheers.

The APA was too busy watching "Back to the Future" reruns when AAL went into BK.

Nah, they just couldn't pass up the opportunity to freeze their own pension and get a huge equity payoff in exchange for dumping our profit sharing. They might play dumb but it's because DUI gave them a role to play, and paid them handsomely.

The companies contract item was deleted regarding preference for airport hotels.  There is no longer an airport hotel area preference mandated.

It is also specifically stated in the new pilots contract that they do not have to use the same hotels as flight attendants.  You no longer have to worry about the pilots "riding the backs of the F/A's".   You are on your own now.  Enjoy your layover hotels without worry of pilots impeding on your hotel assignments.  Best of luck to you.

Even though the language was removed, that wasn't the case in real life anyways. I can think of 2 hotels where the pilots chose to stay at different hotels than us because their hotel department knew better. In both cases the pilots were worse off and they changed to follow us soon after. In each situation, they were getting treated better than F/A's in room accommodations and amenities. When we left, amazingly, the upgrades and coctail hours were no more. At that point, the inferior hotels no longer were up to snuff for our aviators and changes were made. I say good luck to them if they think they can do better. In the end, the same cheap a$$es at the AA hotel department are going to give them the choices to choose from. Which APFA will have the same choices as well.
