Never said Phoenix had anything that could even compete with a Pop Warner team. But what the heck afterall it ain't a sport unless it has 4 wheels and turns left.

back to the original subject of PHL ramp agents...
Last spring while deadheading into philly I sat next to a retired USAir capt. He had been with the company since 1950 and retired in '83. We chatted it up all the way from CLT to PHL. When we arrived on the ramp in PHL we had to wait ten minutes for a marshaler and ramp agents. I told the retired captain that waiting for rampies was common now in PHL. He laughed and gave me a knowing smile. "Son," he said, "We've had to wait for marshalers in Philly ever since I started here in 1950. It's part of th city's culture."
True story.
