Oil At $55 Per Barrel

<_< How about this one?------- Is it true? Did the AMFA pay it's Office bill ($9,000) when it left town after the Ozark/ TWA buyout? If not, who did???

You're joking, right? AA doesn't even like its current employees and families non-revving. D3 (pass, not immediate family) charges are outrageous. My brother-in-law can buy a non-stop pos space ticket on SW from BHM to LAS (his and my sister's son is a test pilot at Nellis AFB) for less than a D3 pass on AA that would require a change of planes in DFW and no guarantee that he would get on the plane to LAS.

True, the D3s are pretty much worthless because as you pointed out, the fares are so low that you can buy a regular ticket and be practically assured of getting a seat-no standby. I have hardly ever used them and I really don't know anyone who does.

<_< Oh Bob! ----Just a little trivia for you! Do you know who is bankrolling the exTWA F/A's law suit against the APFA/AA? Non other than the I.A.M.!!!!! ;) Now why would they want to do that????? :p

Because the APFA is not AFL-CIO affiliated.

The AFA was forced to merge due to financial difficulties with the CWA (notice they did not go with the TWU, IAM or IBT? Why do you think that was?) so maybe the IAM is simply trying to bankrupt the APFA.

Who cares?

What would you rather have a union that paid its office expenses or one that got you full seniority?
