Obama's Second Term

So Barack gets elected for four more years.
What's his mantra then?
I was handed a crappy economy by the previous administration?
No, that's when he makes good on the promise to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and President-elect Vladimir Putin! More flexability !

Not even close. Romney the Republican Congress were all for this idea before they were against it. We are all paying for healthcare one way or the other, might as well get the most bang for the buck.

The government and the rich have been taking from the middle and lower class for centuries. It's about time they start carrying their own weight.
More "Wealth-Envy!"

When does the other 51% put some skin in the game ! THAT would make it easier on the middle class too, yet no one wants to talk about it......................especially sniveling liberals !

If wealth envy is a billionaire paying 17% compared to my 21% then sign me up and color me green

How about returning the Federal to its role as defined by the COTUS and everyone pay no Federal Income Tax??? Can't be more fair then that.

You and others with that same wealth envy miss the part where the wealthy guy paid income taxes on his salary all those years at the same progressive rates everyone else did and then invested it over time and earned on those investments which is taxed at 15% or so. With that said, it makes a strong argument that he may have paid more in the long run.
Soon to be rich guys earns money, pays taxes at 28-35% and invests and reaps gains which are then taxed at some 15%?
Whats the overall rate then?

He is making far more money now than when/if he was getting a W2. Income is income. Just because he used to pay taxes at a higher rate does not mean he should get a free ride now. If a rich guy is paying that kind of tax rate then he is either an idiot or needs a better accountant because according to the last study I read very few actually pay the actual tax rate. Kind of like the corporate tax rate where GE ends up paying substantially less.

And just who in the hell do you think will be more able to invest "THEIR" money in new jobs creations?

I'll tell you this...............it won't be the 51% who don't pay any taxes !

BTW, when Liberals like you are ready to discuss that 51% putting some skin in the game, I'll be first in line to discuss tax increases on the Millionaires and Billionaires, my bad...........people making over $250,000 a year !

Never owned a business huh? That's not quite how it works. A business is not going to ramp up production or hire people in the hopes that someone will show up and buy their products. That only happens when there are enough people walking in the door to justify expansion. So until the consumers start consuming, the 'job creators" are not going to create crap.

I have advocated for a flatter tax rate for quite some time. I have also advocated for the elimination of all the tax loop holes that allow billionaires to pay a lower tax rate than I do.

Geez You are just like Ron Paul. He favors a flat tax rate for the personal income tax. Know what his proposed rate is? ZERO Percent. A very equitable approach don't you think?
