Obama 2012-Are You Better Off Than Four Years Ago?

OK. What ever you say.

Ron Paul predicted it. You know the "Kook" I support?

Refute my point please or are you as morally bankrupt as the nation is fiscally bankrupt?

The Libtards F*cked us right up the arse and you're OK with it?

S&P downgrades U.S. credit rating

S&P downgrades U.S. credit rating from AAA, Happy now all of you Progressive Libtards out there? Time to go to Home Depot and reserve your Refrigerator Box new home. God I do so love living in the Peoples Democratic Republic of Barackistan. It's like living Orwells's novel, Animal Farm!! Heil Obama. Did anyone notice Ron Paul was right?

ARTICLE
This is a result of the tea party extremists tying the budget fight with our debt ceiling. By signaling that this was the way our congress is going to do business, the rating agency downgraded.

Maybe next time we will actually account for the war spending and benefit programs when the funds are obligated. GAAP were not used by Bush and his complicit congress.

Time to pay the piper. I am sure we would have been much better off if Bachmann had her way and were trying to figure out who we could pay right now as our ability to pay the bills ran dry.

I would like to ask her to prioritize who she would have paid, with a timeline.

Hey you know what else Obama inherited from Bush?
AAA credit rating.

Yesterday we watched history being made. For the very first time in our history the United States of America no longer has a AAA credit/bond rating.

Yesterday, Barack Obama ensured that your grandchildren and their grandchildren will pay for his incompetence, failed policy's, inept leadership, war mongering and fiscal irresponsibility.

Yesterday was indeed a day of change. A change brought forth by a back bench junior Senator from Illinois with visions of grandeur for himself at the expense of 280 million citizens.

Yesterday was the first day of our journey into the abyss, whether we come out just another third world banana republic or the great nation the founding fathers envisioned remains to be seen.

Yesterday the equivalent of an economic atomic bomb was dropped on our economy because of the actions of TWO men over the last ten years. Kind of ironic that today is the 66th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Makes me wonder if five days from now we'll lose our status as the worlds reserve currency.

Yesterday the Economic Court rendered it's verdict on Barack Obama and Ben Bernanke and their policies. GUILTY of Failing to lead, failing frankly at every aspect of being President.
1. Failure to exit Iraq & Afghanistan which would have saved billions if not Trillions
2. Starting Wars in Yemen & Libya incurring further costs that we can't afford.
3. Failure to move forward towards Energy Independence - Think of the jobs that would have been created? Oil Field work is high pay work too. NOT the minimum wage BS now
4. The so called stimulus which was nothing more than paybacks in the form of some 8,000 projects, many of dubious value and judging from the unemployment stats of very little job creation value. If we hadn't spent the 800 Billion maybe the bond rating wouldn't be downgraded
5. Obama Care which WILL cost us money we don't have. Yet he obligated us to implement a program that we have no hope of paying for.

Some would point to Europe and it's cradle to grave social safety net as proof that it can be done. Let's for the sake of argument agree with that premise. Now look at their Military Budgets as a percent of their GDP and compare it to ours. The United States subsidizes far more than ethanol, we prop up the entire European economy by taking on the burden of their defense to the detriment of those here at home. Same with Japan. We can no longer afford to be the Worlds Policeman AND have a strong social safety net. Something has to give. For me the ideal path would be a shared sacrifice in that we bring ALL of the troops home in the next 90 days, Work out a way for Social Security and Medicare to be solvent for the next 75 years and if we do those structural things we will be positioned to live on the tax revenue collected now. Sure we can tweak it and work on overhauling the tax code to make it more fair and promote economic growth without it being a tool for social engineering like it is now.

The first step is to remove Barack Obama and Ben Bernanke and replace them with STRONG fiscally responsible people capable of taking the heat that's required in order to right our floundering economic ship. This will be no easy task as EVERYONE will pay a price either in reduction or elimination of their favorite federal program or in the manner in which they're taxed. Most likely both IMO. We, as citizens have the stomach for this battle. The question is who at the top has the courage to lead. Certainly not the current Empty suit.

You mean the fraud who talks about fiscal responsibility who votes against spending bills but always manages to insert earmarks for his district into those same. He knows that most people are to lazy and or stupid to figure this out.

3 earmarks out of 8,000 and that's ALL you can up with regarding Ron Paul?

Take 8,000 earmarks and divide by 535 Congress Critters and you come up with an average of 15 per critter or 5 times as many as Ron Paul got. I think I can live with that. 30 some odd years in Congress and that's all the "Dirt" you can find? It's funny people keep looking for dirt and they can never find it and with his ideas trust me they're looking.

There are more than three earmarks, do your homework.

Why don't you tell me? You make allegations then don't support them with even so much as an Op-Ed piece.

He was asked about the earmarks and his reply was honest. It went something like, "Well I don't like them but I might as well get some of the money back that my constituents sent to Washington" Granted, not a pristine Libertarian answer, but an honest answer that reflects the reality of life in Washington.

Here is his explanation which BTW took less than a minute to find

Moral: As long as you admit to being a hypocrite it's OK.

Now if we follow his line of logic to the end, he really sucks as a Congressman because he is not getting all of his constituents money back. He really should be requesting a lot more ear marks.

It's funny that when it comes to digging up dirt on Ron Paul everyone comes home with an empty shovel. It's also clear from your reply that you didn't watch him explain his views on Earmarks.

Whether you buy into his views is one thing but he's the closet thing I've seen in the last 40 years to an honest man of principle to get elected to Congress. Frankly I don't see any hypocrisy, that's Republicrat territory;

Its going to be a long 8+ years for the sad sack Obama bots. Hope and change has made them irrelevant from this point going forward.

RIP Progressive/liberalism

Since you seem to be so fond of links here's one for you.

Paul voted against government assistance for victims of Hurricane Katrina and later told the Washington Post he had no regrets.
"Is bailing out people that chose to live on the coastline a proper function of the federal government?" Paul said. "Why do people in Arizona have to be robbed in order to support the people on the coast?"

Yet when it comes to his own home district that's been affected by a hurricane he brings home the money. As I have said so many times before why is it not the resposibility of people in Arizona to pay for hurricane damage in New Orleans but it is in his home district? Can you answer that one for me?

What I find dishonest about him is when he votes against a spending bill for Hurricane Ike yet made sure that $96 million went to his district. It's almost as if he's playing people like you for fools. He must be counting on people only picking up on the fact that he voted agaisnt aid for his home district. Not the fact that he sent a bunch on money to it anyway. Should not be suprising coming from someone who is in perpetual presidential campaign mode. That way he he can keep his district happy and his Youtube followers as well.
