You were probably drowning your sorrows to notice the comeback. I was enjoying a sober night of football. Dim bulbs like yourself probably missed the analogy to football and declaring victory too early.
Reminds me of USAPA's Pickleball team.
ATLANTA — FINAL: Texas A&M 52, Duke 48: Texas A&M trailed by three touchdowns at halftime Tuesday in the Chic-fil-A Bowl but rallied to take the lead late and intercepted Anthony Boone twice in the fourth quarter of a 52-48 win.
Contract in 90 days... Lol

Stupid easties...

Why we need a new President:

1- NIC:

The single most important event in the merger of American and the NON-merger with AWA is the NIC. Nothing in your professional life as a airline pilot will have more effect on your life style and the net worth of your family than the NIC. We all jumped through so many hoops to get here and Gary does not seem to understand this.

Where is the outrage and strongly worded letter from Gary to Parker about allowing the West to have a seat at seniority talks with APA, The West pilots are represented by USAPA. Where is the injunction against American and APA to insure the West pilots are not allowed to be at the table for future talks on seniority.

Where is the letter from Gary to Parker to advise him that at the next seniority talks we will invite the TWA pilots . They have legal action against American just like the West pilots, there is no difference. That way there will be 4 pilot groups at the table. APA will go through the roof if we demand the TWA guys come to all future talks on seniority .In fact there are more TWA pilots than AWA pilots.

2- $125,000 vs $8,700

We were the stronger of the two airlines with cash in the bank , making a profit and not in BANKRUPTCY. Does it make any sense to anyone that the American pilots receive $125,000 at the POR and we get $8,700 ? Why didn't Gary fight to make sure all pilots of American were treated equally and given the same amount at POR ?

3- VACATION

The MOU says we are given XXX days of vacation in 2014. After we sign the MOU we find out we now have to earn those days during 2014 and we finally get them in 2015. Where is the letter from Gary about this ?

4- NO MEDICAL NOT A PILOT:

Yes, he is allowed to serve until early 2014 without a medical. But due to his health (and we all hope he gets better soon) the correct course of action would be to step aside. This is what a gentleman does. Especially when you are not well enough to attend a hearing in Federal court.

5- NO RESPONSE FROM GARY:

Gary must not care about his job or his fellow pilots because he is silent on the recall. If JOE VOTE NO is so sincere about keeping Gary why won't he sign his name ? Why do we keep getting emails with an address in PIT at the bottom of the email ?
Anyone who will not sign a letter is someone I do not trust.

6- 11 REPS:

Few, if any of us know all 14 members of the BPR. But we all appreciate their time and efforts to help their fellow pilots.

If 11 of our fellow pilots on the BPR think Gary should go and they deal with him on a daily basis, then that alone is good enough for me.

Could go on with more points, but must leave to fly a trip.

Gentlemen,

I realize that, as Albert Schweitzer said, "Opinions on are like assholes - everyone has one but they think each others stink".

But - considering our past history here with regard to unions and some of the union leadership that we have voted in to govern and steer this pilot group, it is very important to someone like me that has 14 years left here at this "new" airline to share a view thoughts on this Recall of Gary Hummel. Stephen Bradford, and the re-institution of the "Roll Call" vote.

Trust me, it is a personally driven "vendetta" perpetrated by Paul DiOrio, Bill McKee, Bob Frear, and Steve Crimi and the others. These destructive men are trying to exact retribution upon Gary Hummel for finally accomplishing what they could not in over 5 years - a new productive pilot contract. Gary removed both DiOrio and Frear from the earlier Negotiating Committee (NAC) along with their Full Pay Flight loss for ineffectiveness, and they are pissed - and this is how they are ensuring their revenge. It's not about You, Me, or the line pilot - it's about their anger and personal agendas and vendettas towards Gary, or anyone who may disagree with them.

Although I'm not a Stephen Bradford or USAPA fan or supporter from Day 1 - it is imperative that we keep Hummel and Bradford in office to preclude the Hijacking of our union and careers by these immoral, angry, dishonest men who are "hell-bent" on destroying anyone and anything in their way to accomplish their own personal agendas - to enrich themselves. Just ask yourself - what has any of these men, individually or collectively, accomplished since the inception of USAPA - NOTHING but Injunctions, lawsuits, and millions in legal bills to various legal firms (our hard-earned dues monies). Gary has accomplished more in one year than they have since 2007 - and they are pissed, because he took charge of an insane situation and brought a little sanity to our union. He came into his job with Zero experience, zero baggage, zero anger, and a willingness to help his fellow pilot - and these long-term union position abusers have vilified him for his efforts that have yielded true, tangible results. Just check your latest Paycheck Deposit if you don't believe me.

Please - Vote NO, NO, NO on all issues of this recall. Please take the time and make the effort to vote - you must be "present" to win, and your careers may hinge on this very Recall vote. Imagine a Crimi "scab" or a assault & battery convicted McKee having control of your career direction. Scary - almost as much as a DiOrio/Parella/Brookman liason having control. Can you say, again, LOA 93?

Why? "Players" don't much impress me. Let's start with exactly WHO performed ANY due diligence to come up with the 40 mill figure? ANYONE? That sort of thing's properly left to at least some margin of in depth financial analysis, so who performed anything of the sort? Let's continue on to consider who was perfectly fine without arguing for retro pay, versus those who insisted on it? Who's actually being paid directly by the company, not as a pilot, but to act the part of union president?...And WHY would the company be so happy to do that? Does no one even wonder about that? Why are the only arguments the Hummel side can offer little more than ad hominem attacks and otherwise, just vague BS? Why have the line pilots been kept so much in the dark about whatever the current regime's been/is ever, actually up to? Given the historically established behavior, individual meetings with management/etc: Why shouldn't I reasonably assume that Hummel's primary focus is in doing his best to secure a future exec slot with the company?

"Trust me." Yeah...Sure thing..."player". ;)

Tsk.  Tsk.  Sad, really.

Living out your dreams as imaginary Spartans, imaginary dire wolves, now....imaginary football players.

We see the analogy.  Especially the analogy to those losers, the Army of Leonidas.

Now, go play with your imaginary friends so that you can feel like a hero.

How many years after the American merger will you still be claiming "East flying"?
Good question.

We were doing 100% of our own flying in 2004 until the shotgun wedding in 2005.

My wife could visit family in New Orleans on a direct flight out of Phoenix and not have to connect in CLT prior to the acquisition.

Geaux Tigers, beat Iowa.

Let's not forget "Larry Potta' wizards", "knights" who've "fought many battles with valor", and now even Israel's finest soldiers.

"Tsk.  Tsk.  Sad, really."..? Agreed, but that doesn't even begin to properly address such infantile insanity. Even among basically healthy adolescents; rampant narcissism has some rationally expressible limits. Seriously; this has been/is still an amazing envirornment that's fully worthy of clinical case study. These people are honestly of a sort I've never previously encountered in any group of professionals, or even supposed adults. Perhaps it's I who've led something of a "sheltered life", in tending to generally give people more initial credit than some are actually worth.

I take it you want Hummel out.

Your "trust me" plea, in light of your years of contrarian viewpoints against the vast majority (I mean: REALLY VAST MAJORITY) of east pilots, will certainly get a lot of east pilots on "your side" on this.

I don't want Hummel out but when has what I wanted ever mattered?

1) Noticed prior to posting...apparently yet another "player" you agree with. What's your point? You obviously advance your own opinions through him by posting his BS.
2) Good to know, and that alone speaks unsavory volumes about him.
