non-rev 1st class availability

Just wondering if while non-revving only 1st class seats are open,will the gate agent allow the non-rev to take the seats without paying the fee on international flights?

Generally no - no pay, no FC/Envoy. Non-Envoy/non Hawaii isn't too bad - something like 20-25 dollars. I believe Europe/GIG is $100 but don't know about Hawaii or places like TLV.

I'm guessing it depends on if it is profitable and to the airlines advantage. Non-rev=no profit.

Don't forget that NR passengers aren't going unless there is an empty seat anyway. So anything they make off an NR is better than nothing at all.
