Ok, this just happened to me AGAIN yesterday. Does anyone have any insight on what the company is doing about the meal situation between first class and coach? WHY are we still offering food for sale in coach with ONLY the snack basket in first. First class passengers who paid FULL FARE were asking why they had to eat old standard junk that is available on a 30 minute flight while people in coach on $99.00 tickets were offered food. This is TOTAL BS. Sherry are you there? How about anyone thats part of the FARCE I mean FOCUS group. I mean really.

Well I just did my first transatlantic in ten years and the food in Envoy was just dreadful. That Tuscan Chicken was just dry and that prosciutto around it was just embarassing to our Italian Envoy pax not to mention that cholesterol pizza margherita. Girls, there were no nice salads like we had when we did PIT-FRA. I can't eat anything up there or I won't fit into our new zip up dress. I already forgot how bloated you can get on those long flights - I might need to reorder a size 4. I am looking forward to those scarves though - they will hide the neck which is what gives away aging.

How do I respond to this?
Have you tried asking them, using the method that all FA's have been told about? You will get an answer from them within a few days. If you expect a decent answer from this forum, you're in need of some help.

Really? hmmm thats funny considering management, Sherry and the like are ALWAYS surfing these boards. So what's your point? You mean YOU don't know? WOW, I guess I BETTER get on ask inflight. I hope someone can pull themselves away from that "new" beverage cart setup or Envoy experience to take a second to drop me a line about why we are so ghetto.

LOL, now that was funny Travelpro! The P&P says "FC customers may purchase InFlight Cafe' food items at any time and FAs are not required to wait until the MC customers are offered blah blah blah blah" So, I guess the answer is they expect FC customers to purchase BOB too! Perhaps with the new food upgrades they will be looking at the domestic service and doing something about it in FC? =) A gril can dream.

AGREE Completely. It all comes down to whether You plan on offering a F/C product or expect to continue misleading the customer. Was on a recent trip where the SB was offered in Main Cabin, nothing in First. Three people in F/C opted to buy the box regardless.....they needed their fix of carbs
. We had the pleasure <NOT> of working with one of the koolaid drinking/ beverage cart designing fools amongst US and when the "issue" was brought up to HIM.....he had no explanation outside of unintelligble "Desert Babble". WHY can't these people see this as a MAJOR SLAP IN THE FACE to a F/C pax? BTW....as far as the Koolaid drinker......let's just say after 3 days of torment by the ENTIRE Crew, he sulked, kept his comments to himself and did the most THOROUGH Cabin Trash Collection I have ever seen in my 27 years of Duty. (Shall we say we gave a Cold Shoulder, Tongue lashing and B*tch slap all in One! )Similar threads
