Moron Move Alert!

....meanwhile have you seen the airport cops Segways? I saw a cop yesterday speeding down between B & C on a Segway doing at least 20 mph. Lots of little kids running around and it's only a matter of time before the retarded PHL airport cops make Segway road pizza out of some US passengers.

Later,
Eye

One of the first managers I worked with had spent some time in PHL; this was during the Frank Rizzo era. He told me that the PHL airport cops were either just short of retirement or were ones who had too many citizen complaint for let's say "over enthusiasm" in the city. Now, I have great respect for the boys and girls in blue, but an "over enthusiastic" cop in the Frank Rizzo day, would be something else!

And over in US Airways circus ring 3 you will see the removal by the end of next week of all the Electric Carts in our PHL HUB!

I didn't think it was true when I heard it this morning so maybe more to the story. Three agents and two supervisors told me this morning that indeed they are going bye-bye in the next week or two. No reasons stated. For all the disabled people who fly us with tight connections, I hope you get your Smart Cart rental ready. Anyone got the scoop?
I had not heard that. But just an FYI, the same thing happened in PHX a few years back. It was because they had repeatedly hit walking passengers, and they lost the insurance coverage.

They started up a while later only running on the connector between the two B's and the A. When they added the 2nd A concourse, they started going down the full length of the concourse.

I'll bet it's insurance related again.

Forgive him, he's from YV.

Hmm...USAV didn't take the quote...if someone goes back to the third page they would see...

"Must have been the PBI flight" posted by phllax

I was saying "what the cluck" why does everyone rag on PBI...

Now...as for Forgive him, he's from YV...Do you have beef with Mesa?

There you go! I truly respect the heck out of SWA, Spirit, Skybus, EasyJet, Ryan Air. They know exactly what they are about and they don't deviate. If you like what they offer then hey buy a ticket.

Motel 6 is the same way. The message is clearly defined and they deliver what they promice.

Same with Midwest on the other end of the spectrum.

US Airways talks the talk but can't walk the walk due to one of the highest CASM's on the runway right now.

Piney Bob...You sir are a shrewd!

Now...I'm in complete agreement with you  As for Mesa...I don't have any beef with them right now...ever since it all went teriyaki
