Not sure what your rattling on about and i ll only say If you understood BUISNESS 101 Your OPINION WOULD B E DIFFERENT> PLAIN SIMPLE BUISNESS 101 (all CAPS) That tells me some dont have a clue but hey ITS the USA far less smarter have made a million ! By the way the stealth approach is always better tha our pres "shock and aww" I choose to avoid some posters that may not comprehend the basics and who choose to disagree for the sake of doing it or better yet bitterness hatred and plain out ole "just aint gonna get it"

I was wondering where Cav was! I thought he was on vacation or something. My real fascination is the poster with the alter ego on the board. Comes across as quite mentally unstable. I have been able to catch a few mistakes as she- I mean 'it' is unable to keep the lies straight. Got the tip off about it and have been watching. Quite entertaining!

If you are truly a f/a, I suggest you pick up from the internet America West Contract. I have it in my possession. YOu will see first hand that many of the conessionary language that U f/as ratified comes directly from the America West contract. You will also see the signators of the America West contract signed by our very own senior and middle management team that was recruited here. There sure is a lot of talk comparing us to America West, who just happens to be the other carrier with an approved ATSB guarantee and happens to be singing a success story since 9/11. Also, keep in mind they have a young workforce, and they haven't been around that long, and they are looking to expand their East coast presence.
And if you focus on another "clue", mangement has made no mention or effort to bridge any bad relations with labor, only to threaten a "sell off".
If you look real real hard, a light bulb may go off that just maybe, and I mean maybe, Chip Munn has it not quite right with the UCT with United.....but rather some kind of acquisition/merger type transaction with none other than:
Mesa/America West/and USAirways.
Purely speculation, but put some focused energy on that for awhile and chew it. And if this mangement even hints to correct our contract with anything that smells like America West....I'd start to worry about wearing America West uniforms.
PS: I suggest everyone "print" this thread, and then pull it out again in one year and see where we are at. In the meantime, be careful what you wish for, OR you permit to happen.

If you did speculate about this some time ago....I missed it, because I just wasn't focused on America West. But the deeper I read about them and their contract and what the implications are with Airways, makes me think that it may be just the road U mangement wants to travel or something along those lines. Presently, we ratified America West's reserve system and "sick pay penalty". I'll be watching closely what is offered next.
They surely aren't letting the employees know or even speculate about it. Its just a hunch something's up with Mesa, and jumbled with America West and us somehow. Orienstien is busy joining in the threat of buying our assets, while Siegel is busy threatening to sale. Bronner is chiming in as all a possibility if Labor doesn't cave. So, you have to wonder if they all aren't "breaking bread" together on a regular basis and getting together the "master plan".

Continued speculation (all be it quiet and unsubstantiated) of UAL's need to divest or reduce costs further to exit Ch 11.

I know they make less, but not sure how much. I am trying to get a copy of the customer service payscales, but since they dont have any agents in TPA (contracted out to CO), its kinda hard to do. Guess that saves them some money, but since HP and CO arent doing the codeshare thing anymore, I dont know how many places they still do the cross contract work.RowUnderDCA said:
