Let’s Bring Our Jobs And Our Work Back Home

Cold Steel December 6, 2001

"The steel industry has long been helping itself to federal largesse. The old-line integrated producers, for example, cut deals with the union that it couldn’t afford to keep. To stay afloat, the producers turned to Washington, lobbying for some of the nation’s most protectionist laws. As of June, the industry enjoyed 103 anti-dumping orders, which impose tariffs on specific products from specific countries. It enjoys federally guaranteed loans, too, because investors deem few of its firms to be worth private investment."

Technology...delldumas?
go check out some of the industry's contracts and you'll see where you err, fancy pants. :mf_boff:

just love a guy crying about entitlement programs who kept his job from a government program after 9-11
suppose you lobbied to let AWA and U go under back then?

just want the company to adhere to what they have agreed too and not let the executives get rich out of my wallet.
Executives getting rich out of YOUR wallet   Spoken like a true blue(or should that be red) Socialist!!  You make me roll on the floor, dude!!!

You are full of it, as everyone knows I am no fan of the PIT IAM representatives.

Second you are a liar and you are the desperate one and everyone sees it in your posts.

Third, Remember you live in a glass house and you really should seek some help for your delusions.

The only delusion I ever had was giving you the benefit of the doubt. **Edited by Moderator--You were warned** Without U, you have no self, or even soul.

I am finished Mr. Mod Man, forgive my posts to this loser.

Everyone on here knows exactly what this clown is all about with all of his never ending, “facts“.

Cheerio--- And best of luck to the brave hearts out there riding out the aviation storms, as I disappear to where I belong.

Maybe not from Pit, but I have copies of tons of emails from you to an union official in PIT where you received tones of advice. That and the fact you worship the IAM leaders in Pit and do their bidding. Also, I stay in touch with an ex mechanic ex union IAM official who now works in the CLT area these days outside of U, he knows all about you. You want to throw accusations and insults my way, then you better be ready to go the entire route. I have absolutely nothing to hide, nothing and will push harder than you can imagine 700. You’re on here night and day because you’re a desperate man backing a pathetic union with a track record of minus zero.

Cal,

Didn't you say in one of your posts that if there was a choice, you would never choose IBT to represent you because of an experience you had?

Couldn't have said that better myself Dell. Fly, needs to go fly a kite.

The work will not comeback. And dont start with BS unless you talked with Doug. His intentions are to wait till the NMB comes back and negotiate more pay for less scope. He said it..The New VP of tech opps said it, Hemmengway was right there . And he will get it if it comes to a vote. We'll do the same thing NWA did. Fast cash, Eat the young. Not what I want but it will happen watch.

He does not know what he is talking about, the company and the IAM are in talks to bring more work back in-house as we can do it cheaper, better and quicker then the vendors.

its like this:
at Northwest they said "let us farmout a greater portion of your heavy maintenance and we'll give you $40.00 an hour"
and the majority of the senior mechanics agreed
look where they are now

more PITbullsh**. Take your negativity somewhere else. This is a new company with employees who want it to succeed. Lucky for us, you'll retire to your cave soon. Looking back over your previous posts, you really must be miserable. Everything you've had to say has been a dig at management or the corporation. The truely amazing part is that you weren't terminated for your public bashing of the company in the media. Thankfully, you're being left behind.
