It appears that the IAM still hasn't filed the form 5500 for the Grand Lodge pension for the period ending 12/31/16.

Do you know have they changed EINs, plan name or done anything to make it more difficult for interested parties to access?

Name one employer that said "we put the welfare of our employees ahead of profits"

Then name the ones that do!

That's easy. Southwest did during the full Herb years. Now, not so much. Now the investors are more taken care of. And it was put in writing with Herb, he has always said; take care of the employees first, they will take care of the customers, which will in fact take care of the investors. It now seems to be, investors first, customers second, and employees third. I do understand where you are coming from bob, but Southwest very much did put employees before profits while Herb and Colleen were here. Now it is profits at the top.

No compelling arguments against anyone's greed no matter where they work. But an observation. On the TWU side I believe the Negotiators currently having seen so much loss over the years of cities closed just don't have the stomach for any more. Irrelevant which Union represents the city either BTW.

Hey Weez,

You appeared to have weathered out the storm alright and helped out a homeless guy too...

Sadly, the events in Florida and Texas lend support to another reason to support smaller stations, as it gives more options when the current work location is no longer desired. My former in-laws vacated Florida over a decade ago after their home was destroyed twice when the state was struck 5 times by hurricanes in a few months.

I work with a guy who has decided to visit various stations to figure where he wants to reside permanently so he has lived in NYC, TPA, LAS, PHX and a few others. He has inspired me to do the same thing maybe in another year.

What a joke. I don't see the letters TWU in there, and don't see the word PICKET in there. The IAM leadership is a piece of garbage. I thought Jim Little was worthless.

Can you expect anything different? For all the issues with the TWU at least they represent local 100 and have rich CBAs for their public sector membership in the transport sector.

The TWU international is on a more solid financial footing than the IAM Grand Lodge.

The IAM has been in a downward spiral for years and the "leadership" seems content with the way things are. Look at the sell out agreements the IAM leadership has waged vote yes campaigns for at Boeing, Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin, etc. Desecrated the careers of airline employees at Alaska, Eastern, USAIR, NWA, TWA and now British Airways.
