Suggestion? No. Just found out this is what is planned on that date in my station. Just trying to establish if it is coincidence, station specific, or is a company system wide strategy. To imply this is a suggestion reflects how little you know about me. This is not about TWU vs. IAM. It is about knowing thy true enemy. Stand down WeAAsles. Is it system wide, just IAM represented stations or just coincidence? This is what I am trying to establish.

ograc I can't answer that question you have. You are the first person saying anything about the Company giving out cookies and balloons on the 24th.

I can ask you though if you would like to fly here to MIA and join our protest though? I'd LOVE to see some of those cool IAM shirts on full display?

Chill out with your IAM / TWU comments AANOTOK. It does not promote unity. I'm only trying to determine if this is going to go on system wide.
Hey Brother, DO NOT TELL ME TO CHILL OUT...you have already stated your position on picketing, real unity brother...so don't lecture me...carry on!

I do have to admit I'm wondering whatever happened to "Lock and Load" myself?

Sito will be forced to run for election. Maybe his anti union butt will finally support the Association istead of being management's Biatch.
With an election, im sure he will want to have a good jcba to stand on instead of kissing management and withholding support for association members picketing. Not just a new election for that clown but the dol also decided to keep the case open and possibly bring the iam to court, and continue investigating rico and other charges.

I enjoyed litigating and upholding the iam constitution over these worthless bums.

Tim, you are a trip. You have done more anti solidarity action than I have ever seen. Worked for them at one time. Tried to start your own Union. Wow. wTF. Get on board. Unbelievable anti solidarity at its finest!

Overall I'm not a fan of Nelson and in general I think he's nuts. BUT I can't deny when it comes to these elections at IAM he does win these things over and over constantly and almost consistently.

Maybe people who want to hold office should just do it right the first time?

And if anyone wants to counter his comments I'm all eyes to read it?

Have you heard when they plan to have the CLT Picket?

Any chance to beat the numbers they got in DFW you think?

no, the last time there was one here I think they could only get a permit for less thn 50 people maybe someone could correct me if that's wrong

Because my opinion on the effectiveness of public picketing differs from yours you insinuate I am anti unity. That's a pretty quick judgment of character on your part. I have my own opinions on what should and could be done to both demonstrate unity and get the company's attention. We shall see what influence the picketing has on the company's posture in negotiations. The distraction is this mind set that it is TWU verse IAM. Misguided thinking and counter productive.

Backed off that. Some posters on this forum found it too abrasive. I'm thinking about closing with hugs and kisses. Besides... the final order to "Lock and Load" should only be given to a united front. Based on what I have seen on this forum we are far from that.

I'm sorry ograc but I tries to calls it like I sees it. And what I sees is an Association where one side is being determined, focused and aggressive and the other side is being meek, prone and passive.

That's not a division I can cast blame towards Management. That's a division we're creating amongst ourselves.

Here let's take the heat off this conversation. Scope and Station staffing is not my first priority of thought and not going to be the thing I run to look at when we get a TA to vote on.

It's natural to want to focus on cash first unless of course you're in a small Station and are worried about that language. Ograc is in a small Station so that's his (understandably) first priority.

An injury to one is an injury to all.

8 hours is long enough for me.

That 3rd RDO is well worth it! I'd take 4 10's in a heartbeat!

Well, this new election isnt at all about me so i really dont feel the need to comment about your opinion on my past. Unless you are fully supporting that the iam bosses shouldnt come under labor law or our iam constitution. Like weez said, why not just run fair elections? Fwiw i had to appeal within the union first but martinez basically said that he would just spend the members money how he sees fit and for me to go screw myself.
Politically, it should benefit the association as im sure sito will finally have reason to get up off his management sucking arse and try a bit better for a jcba to have something to show prior to his election. Otherwise the candidates running against him will shove his lack of a fair jcba up his arse.

It cant hurt our solidarity since that management shill wont even sign a support letter for us association members. Even amfa signed.

Cmon maaaannn

To ALL ! TN as been playing this game of GOTCHA ! IAM D-141 E-Board going back to to his Piedmont days as a non-union CSA @ ORD . He has a flock of followers of maybe 20% ??? who worship his obsession of being a concerned Labor Union Leader. The Brother never met a Union Boss he loved to hate and then threw under the bus . For those that are biblical "beware of false profits" . My bet is the DOL re-run election will not be a distraction for the Ass. F/S JCBA negotiations, the results will be the same , and TN will continue to be a PT FS Agent/Clerk Player . Fish On !
