True unionism is a electrician burning down a 15 story building by installing a ceiling fan wrong and keeping his job.The fan blades actually intensified the fire. Heard the flames could be seen by MIR the Russian space station. He now can be found in the strip clubs Dallas/Fort worth region (not a true story but Bob has been quiet lately)
Albert I can say I have worked one other UNION job and did not see half the problems I saw at America Airlines. Please believe me when I tell you a lot of the problems people have at American Airlines are self imposed and a result of listening to UNION propaganda.

It's true.

I'll still be out there on the 23rd screaming my lungs out no matter who likes it or not.

Rah Rah Rah!!!!!!

B scale in the 80s and what they gave up with just the threat of bankruptcy you would think would dilute that Kool aid somewhat . Plus I think the Weez has a pretty good head on his shoulders

I understand it, was a steward when we were the Teamsters, but we have alot of people that are apathetic, when you get paid what we do not alot of people get upset, oh they will hold up a sign, when you don't really hold the keys of power, it takes forever, people will blame the company and then some will blame the union, but in the end and I believe this is industry wide, the company knows what your number is or what it will take to get a contract to pass and that's how the world operates now, and has been that way for the last 30 years, it seems only pilots seem to really hold any power or respect now days ! I wish you guys luck, and us too !
You are as strong as your weakest link.

You know Albert I respect your opinion and have found common ground with many of your posts.

This is not one of those times.

I have read too many post from WeAAsles that were nothing but entitlement fueled fantasy peppered with delusions of grandeur.

The main reason I never liked WeAAsles is because I feel he uses the UNION as a vehicle to manipulate and propagate.

In my opinion he has no real use for what a UNION is actually supposed to represent, he simply sees it as a tool to use as he sees fit.

I simply find no integrity in the man. Only propaganda and catchphrases.

Rah Rah Rah indeed.

This may be some of your finest work yet, I laughed my back side off, to much noise on here about nothing. I like speculating as much as the next person, but I think the majority on here needs to better manage their expectation on a JCBA.

Do you even work for AA? Oh that's right no you don't.

You're that guy that thinks people who work longer at a Company should be let go before you because you are the greatest worker this Country has ever seen.

Here on Forums we're stuck with you. On Facebook I would have blocked you years ago as completely, totally and utterly useless and irrelevant.

Irrelevant = La Li Lu Le Low. Better known as "whatever"

Edit: And Trump is NUTS just like you. (Now watch my puppet dance)

No. Being a UNIONized employee at American Airlines was not a good fit for me. I am not criticizing UNIONs in general but the TWU is dysfunctional at best. TWU dysfunction drives 90% of this forum.

You know I worked for American Airlines accounting as well and did not have the kind of issues I had working under the TWU.

I think layoffs should be in order of seniority. I never even insinuated anything else.

Feel free to use the ignore button or better yet just leave.

Speaking of irrelevant what did that have to do with the conversation?

Is randomly criticizing Trump part of your leftist liberal programming?

Now that is NUTS.

Bob what is the pay difference for an electrician in Vegas compared to a union electrician here in NYC?Lets say you are both putting up a Marriot

I would agree with that statement

The time I was in Vegas, it was Boomin! and I gave myself a $8 raise by moving to Vegas. I'm thinking no one who pulls wire today earns as much as us, for the exception of the prevailing rate jobs, back then it was $42/hour. Today, I haven't a clue.

the unions finest times, when the coal miners worked 2 miles underground for hours on in. then coming home to a company home with company food bought at the company store.
The auto worker working the assembly line for hours and hours.

those people did not have a whole lot of choice where they worked or where they lived.
I'm working for a company that provides me and my family a real decent living. A good wage and working contition. yea is gets hot and freezing cold sometimes but beats working in a office or flipping burgers ( not that there is anything wrong in doing that but not for me) been there done it.
so yeah we have union that should work with the company so we can keep a fair wage work environment.
Really do we have it that bad!
sorry for the long rant
