there is always two sides in every negotiation. who is dragging their feet....
.....we don't really know do we??

That depends on what each individual is willing to accept? I'd have to see what you offered my group Jerry?

He's got the one thing you'll never have again. A job at American Airlines.

Face the facts Troll. You were nothing more than a speed bump meant to be run over here. Roadkill.
I give you WeAAsles.

A man of the people.

A true believer in the UNION brotherhood.

A man that knows a few things about equality, integrity, and pulling together to win together.

🙂
Just reminding people and you of course once again that "you're" garbage. You don't really think you're anything else do you?

Emphasis on YOU, the Forum Troll.

You mad bro? After all the nice things I said about you?

Some people just can't take a compliment.

Congratulations to my Local. Looks like they took my suggestion of Brother Dan Brennan to heart.

NYer did you relay my suggestion?

C'mon out bro. Would love to get some pictures of Management showing Solidarity with us.

Wez,

I suspect you have more than one board troll with the new arrival. However, avi would be instructive as to the "union" (and I use that word loosely) within the PHX station. It was a station full of rats largely and representatives who were a little too cozy with Management. My feeling was when union representation accompanied someone into a disciplinary or termination hearing they weren't there as tenacious advocates, but more akin to someone to give last rites providing little more than to beg for mercy from Management.

Unfortunately the results of such weak representation lead to passive sycophantic cooperation with Management by the rank and file, and ironically, attacking the bargaining group attempting to better their very lives. As I have said many times in this industry that one better have friends either in the union or with Management, and with an effete local PHX union many made their alliances with Management, as with brother avi.

Unfortunately Forums is not like FB and I'm stuck with the Trolls who can whack me and never would have the guts to say their names in the real world or if they actually worked with me. Oh well.

And I know it's not true but there is a part of me that just always feels anyone outside of NYC will never really understand Unionism correctly.

Nothing personal to any of the I'm sure very decent people who work there. But PHX? No thank you. Not for me.

I'm in NYC and I understand unionism, I don't get it, but I understand it

True unionism is a electrician burning down a 15 story building by installing a ceiling fan wrong and keeping his job.The fan blades actually intensified the fire. Heard the flames could be seen by MIR the Russian space station. He now can be found in the strip clubs Dallas/Fort worth region (not a true story but Bob has been quiet lately)

I understand it, was a steward when we were the Teamsters, but we have alot of people that are apathetic, when you get paid what we do not alot of people get upset, oh they will hold up a sign, when you don't really hold the keys of power, it takes forever, people will blame the company and then some will blame the union, but in the end and I believe this is industry wide, the company knows what your number is or what it will take to get a contract to pass and that's how the world operates now, and has been that way for the last 30 years, it seems only pilots seem to really hold any power or respect now days ! I wish you guys luck, and us too !

Man I am laughing so hard my eyes are tearing up. I really am.

Tell us WeAAlses, what is the "correct" way to understand UNIONism?
