This "Association" isn't about the employees, never has been.

It is about two industrial unions and their greed and terror at losing dues money.

Wonder how many TWU reps would have been in CLT or PHL if HQ and the earnings announcement was there ?
All I can tell you Al is how many were here today. You guys have any members in Dallas, Al?
One of the folks who stood up and questioned Parker was a Crew Chief in Dallas, lead I think you call them.

Negotiating Committee Works Towards Industry Leading Contract

July 28, 2017

Brothers and Sisters,

The Executive Negotiating Committee informed American Airlines they would not meet face to face with the company this week while in Washington D.C. Your negotiating committees continued to evaluate the proposal presented last week and worked on crafting language to respond to this woefully inadequate company document that is far from industry leading.

It is becoming abundantly clear that the Members’ feeling of disgust towards American Airlines is growing. Your committees greatly appreciate your support this and every week. Your continued support is needed to bring you the industry leading contract you deserve!

Negotiations are scheduled to resume on the following weeks: August 14th and August 28th.

Fraternally,

Fleet Negotiating Committee:
Mark Baskett, William Fa, Mike Fairbanks, Tim Hughes
Steve Miller, Tim Murphy, Pat Rezler, Art Risley
Andre Sutton, Rodney Walker, Bill Wilson

Mechanic and Related/Stores Committee:
Jason Best, Mike Bush, Ken Coley, John Coveny
Dale Danker, Mark Huffman, Bennie Martino, Gary Peterson
Rollie Reaves, Sean Ryan, Jay Sleeman, Mark Strength

With the ton of info the Association puts out, it's hard for me to keep up with it. Weren't that supposed to meet this past week??

It seems they went to DC but didn't actually sit with the Company.

They sat with themselves and tried to work out items so they could put forth a unified proposal that recognized lus health care. 9 cases of beer. Old Style to boot.
Obviously they werent unified on key items so they couldnt possibly meet with the company.

Hopefully, the bickering about the protest didn't infiltrate those proceedings.

Really, we have known that for months, Tim. But if you listen to our two IAM negotiators here on this board there are no disagreements.

I think you should go back and read what each said. They clearly claimed that there were housekeeping matters that needed to be worked out. Not so fast TWU!
