Why, Lombardo got the boot?
Nope. The House Trumpcare plan weakens the companies position that it needs the LUS health care, since the 40% excise tax was rolled back till 2025.

Thus, in Trumpcare present form, the company wont have any 40% tax that it says it cant absorb.
In a twisted way, this is leverage that all other American employees didnt have other than LUS fleet since the doomsday clock was set to 2020 under Obamacare.

First offf, i cant support the totality of trumpcare but its rollback of the 40% tax until 2025 means that the company's negotiation position regarding healthcare is less convincing. The biggest hangup in negotiations, for those who dont know, is healthcare. Previous to today, the healthcare issue was at an impasse. With a mediator, i would think the company position is nowo
Any plan has to go through the Senate and it's already been implied that what the House passed will be extremely modified?

Im sure. But the company cant claim 2020 doomesday is imminent either now. This may provide all of us a better negotiated medical than one necessarily negotiated with the 2020 date hanging over.

This pretty much sums up why Obamacare will never work in this country.

http://www.latimes.com/business/laz...hcare-macarthur-amendment-20170504-story.html

“We had one person, a child with hemophilia, in Medi-Cal who cost $21 million last year,” she said. “We had five other people who cost over $10 million each. Put them together and that’s just six people costing almost $100 million.”

The simple fact, Kent said, is that any risk pool comprised solely of sick people will be very, very expensive.

“The problem with California’s high-risk pool was that there was never enough funding,” she said. “We had to close enrollment because the money ran out.”

The fact is the problem stems from cost and the American government has not done a damn thing to control that. Nothing.

No healthcare plan by ANY party is going to fix healthcare until cost are brought down.

Obamacare was doomed to fail before it ever started. The Democrats goal was never about making healthcare affordable.

If the Democrats gave a damn about providing you decent healthcare regulations would not look like this.

There, in that picture, is the real healthcare crises in this country.

The Democrats want socialized insurance to fix this mess. The fact is insurance (a form of socializing cost) is what created the mess to begin with.

I just wanted to extract part of this proposed trumpcare that should loosen company leverage since trumpcare told the companies not to worry about the 40% excise tax till 2025. Otherwise, i personally think Obamacare was necessary. Disappointed that Trump flipped and tossed out pre existing for a few more Republican votes so he can claim he won. Really?

So, you don't think the ridiculous amount of regulations in Obamacare drove up healthcare cost for everyone?

You disappoint me Tim.

Tim hospitals have a HUGE cost every year that they pass along to patients.

Do you know what that cost is called?

Compliance.

Think about it.

Nobody wants people to suffer because of medical issues.

However, socializing the exponentially rising cost is not the fix, lowering the cost is.

Tim,

I'm pretty sure that the mediator, is an advisory position only in negotiations. Neither side has to heed her advice. And how do you know that the NC was at an impasse regarding healthcare? Another "inside man" informing you? You actually believe the stuff you say don't you? Show me proof that they have started talking about healthcare in negotiations and maybe you will regain some credability. No proof, then its just another tim nelson propaganda spin for his own self serving gains. Oh, that's right, I forgot you can't show any proof.
