You mean none of them will have an ATTITUDE because they make less than the agents?
Weez if this was the 50's I'd ask you if you have ever been a member of the communist party. If they start paying people $30 for throwing out newspapers in seat backs in two years they are going to come to you and ask for concessions and for some reason I think you would be fine with itNope.
Most of those jobs were being performed prior by what our AA Agents affectionately referred to as the "Red Coats" Red Coats nationwide were earning max $14.00 per hour with their contracted company. Most of those people of course have now been hired in directly to AA itself and have a contract (With employment rights) that tops them out now to $20.00 per hour. Plus they have the ability to eventually become full Agents themselves however that contract reads.
I can tell you for a fact that now that they're on foot I get Swissport Fuelers schmoozing up to me all the time hoping to get in where I am. I think it would be FANTASTIC if it was just a simple matter of telling them how to put in a transfer.
On the opposite end. You get some old farts like ourselves that if they just can't really do the job anymore and have the financial ability to drop down to an easier task? Why shouldn't something be available for them?
Now in a PERFECT World yea I DO want to be able to pick up gum wrappers and make over $30.00 per hour doing it. Who knows? I'm not the one in that room Negotiating, that's for sure.
Oh and we should be at the very least doing ALL of our Commuter work in Stations where we are Association staffed.
Nope.

The only contract I'll see this year is the one I have with the people who service my oil burnerWhat's the major hold up on the contract? catering, cargo, ready reserve, or the crappy pension?

It evolved int a lot more but It's days are probably numbered then I will head into the bagroom or operations. I already work the bagroom one day a week as it is. Or maybe I will come to MIA where you will ignore me when you are with your fueler friendsAl if you really feel that way then just like BSO your job in that box there should also be outsourced or you paid less. It is a similar job isn't it?

Would left be 1 and right be 2? or the other way aroundWith the way you talk maybe it's your nuts that are numbered if you didn't already lose them years ago? And they usually don't grow back either.
Al you still have milk delivered daily don't you?The only contract I'll see this year is the one I have with the people who service my oil burner
Milk lets not forget ice and coal. In these colder climates you take out a contract on your burner so if anything goes wrong they come and fix for free a lot of times it is included in the oil contract. Didn't you live in SYRAl you still have milk delivered daily don't you?
