JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

This is not good news. Something is wrong and we deserve to know. It appears that the TWU negotiators do not comment here unlike the IAM negotiators. That doesn't mean they don't read it. I will say that there is not an agreement among TWU members about whether we need to hurry up and get a deal or take our time to get a better deal, but everyone I speak to thinks that only negotiating 1 or 2 weeks a month is ridiculous. Negotiators are losing support due to this issue alone. If anyone here does not agree then speak up, but they should be talking more than 2 weeks a month, and we should not have to wait another month before they talk again. They are losing us, just being honest from what I hear. If they were talking almost every week and not making progress, I think more members would understand. I do not understand or accept meeting once a month.

Robert Isom stated (hinted) a mediator would be needed. Didn't hear anything from either union or the combo called the Association. Isom also stated they were willing to meet 24/7 in a locked room, I believe he said it takes two to tango. So here we sit with one session a month and a NMB member needed.

You get much more info from the company and their Town Halls than you do these Association updates.
I heard from Isom we were headed to mediation before the Ass said anything. Again, as long as the two unions are bumping heads, you will not see a JCBA.

The Leaders of the Association are not bumping heads. Stop listening to rumors.

I don't accept it either. So how do we get the Company to schedule more?

Isom is FOS.

I'm thinking the a$$ is waiting for Trump to declare war, and if that happens all contracts are null and void.

How about a member or two of the Association being at one of these Town Halls and asking that very question, W. The membership was there and asked and you got Isom's reply. I'll wait for your excuse.

I don't give a BIG FAT S about what ANY of them have to say. I listen to my Union and their representatives. I listen to the Association updates, CB and P. Rez on here. Dale Danker's writings, and what Gary Peterson has to say. And I listen to people I call friends.

And none of those STRONG Unions brothers at that Town Hall believed any of his S either.

But you go ahead and believe whomever you chose.

Why do you want a contract so bad? What do you hope to gain from it?

Mediation in this environment is not a good thing for us.

This will either drag out much longer or we will get closer to what the Company wants.
