We have to rely on unofficial videos for updates?
Give me some chit to wade through, any chit and I will try and form an opinion, my own. That's what Gary does. Gives me some chit and I do what I want with it.

NYer I'm curious. Would you have more confidence if Jim Little were still in office or if Joe Gordon had won the election.

Do you have confidence in Harry Lombardo?

There you go. A perfectly fine dialogue and is turned into politics.

The issue is the current negotiations and the communications of such. Had nothing to do with supporting one person over another. You're handlers have you so jacked up with partisan politics that you can hardly function without diving into all the falsehoods they've fed you. Stay focused on the topic.

My contributions don't have names, no comparisons but you seem to always want to portray things in a slanted manner. Jeez.

And there you go being paranoid again. You stated where my confidence level was and expressed seeming surprise? So out of curiosity I wondered since you personally know all three men who you would place the most confidence in and do you have confidence in the person who now is at the top of the TWU?

Handlers assumes that I either have a direct connection to the people in the TWU or that you are expressing either displeasure over that or jealousy?

Did I or did I not just say that BOTH Unions are doing a terrible job at informing us? Do you think my handlers would be pleased with me expressing my dissatisfaction of their skills in our Negotiations?

Now to make it simple for you yet again. I merely asked you a question. Your choice if you want to answer it or not?

Better still if you don't want to talk about the Union you belong to with any names.

Do you have confidence in the TWU/IAM Association?

Don't mean to sound like a smart a_ _ with this comment so I apologize if some take it that way. But I guess many of you on the twu or AA side is used to quick negotiations. But what I think most of you forget just because the name AA is still around is that the AA you used to work for is gone. You work for US Airways now that decided to keep the AA name. The reason I state this? These negotiations to the IAM and IAM side are going pretty much as expected. This is just how Jerry Glass and his guys negotiate. Ask any break rooms that I have briefed, and they all will tell you that I have said all along about 12-18 months is my opinion for an agreement. June will be the 18th month and I still believe that is possible. If not, I think we will be very close to that date. That is just my opinion, having been through this scenario before. I could be off, but we will see. Good progress was made this past week with the executive team. But your not going to see individual articles t/a,d at this point. That was our job and we got done as much as we could before handing things over. While I'm not in the room, I have been through this before. And I would predict that we the negotiating team will eventually get hit with huge chunks of the contract all at once. While they will go through every remaining article that we didn't get done, they will package many of these articles together. Maybe even all of them. But remember, if it's like it has been before. Your not going to hear of single articles t/a,d in my opinion from this point forward.

Ok you see this is letting us know something. But why can't that somehow be expressed that we might not get any more information on individual articles that are finished? Are you guys still doing the updates or has that now moved on to the Leaders writing them also?

And I can't tell you what we on the TWU side are used to personally (And no you didn't sound like a smart A..) because we haven't had a non concessionary contract in almost 16 years. I can't even honestly remember anymore how long that one took or who negotiated it for us? And I hired in just before the contract that was 22 years ago.

It's been a very long time since we had a good solid gains contract as I'm sure you're well aware of.

BTW CB is it the Company still scheduling the weeks off in between talks? Do you know if anyone mentioned Isom trying to blow smoke up those guys butts in ORD making it sound like it was you guys not wanting to run through any marathon sessions?

Does the Company have the same people in the room and can they make on the spot decisions or do they have to pass everything back up the ladder still?

Your not really going to like this response, but I personally have always been against weekly briefings. For anyone that has been in negotiations with this management team before, you know that weekly briefings does more harm than good. You know that you may pass a article back and forth 10 or 11 times with this management team and still not reach a t/a. But it doesn't mean progress wasn't made. But people read about no t/a,s and basically the same briefing as the week before and get very frustrated. Parker and his team know this. They count on the work group getting frustrated. They help fuel that fire at every opportunity. They count on frustration basically selling a contract. They will have their little town hall meetings and act like they care so much!! What they are really doing is just throwing fuel on the fire. I know because I see in negotiations every week how much they really care. Believe me. This is a game they play, that I have to admit, they are very good at. But some of us know it's a game and its expected. I stated in the very beginning to the team that I wouldn't put out weekly briefings. I knew how the company would be and how frustrating those briefings would become to our members. But the majority won out on the weekly briefing. But we have had several weeks where the company would be holding all the articles being discussed because we had given them all back with our latest response and they would just hold them and say they are working on them. Then the next thing you know, it's the end of the week and they say they will get them to us Monday. This isn't done by accident. It's a decision done by the company to fuel the frustrations of the members when they read that weekly briefing. But the good news is. We will get this done. And we will have a very good contract for our members. Ok I'm done ranting. Good night all.

Dates are mutually agreed to by company and union. The company has a very small and limited team in the room also. But they have the folks that can make the decisions right then and there.

Thank you very much CB. It really is greatly appreciated by me if maybe not everyone and it does give me some information to try to quell the frustrations and I hope NYer who also has a particular reach appreciates it as well.

BTW to be honest the raises did calm much of the frustrations on our side even if maybe tactically it wasn't the wisest of decisions.

The updates I guess will always be debatable on how each individual takes them?

You should be proud of that ORD Town Hall though. If Isom and the Company are playing games none of those members were buying any of it.

Have a great night.

Maybe it is just me... but I expect these negotiations to take years, and maybe I was a little optimistic earlier as this was a merger and there would be a push for one integrated fleet work force, as the US/AW CBA was pushed through fairly quickly (but was rejected after the first vote). However, I have seen Southwest ramp agents passed a T/A in the last year that took 5 years to negotiate too!

I am making good money, happy with job, so I would rather have no deal (and work under the existing agreement) than a bad deal, so I am in no hurry.

This discussion is about the communication concerning the negotiations and the Association, that transcends any person because the conservation would be the same regardless of the names at the helm.

You, and your handlers, continue to try to make political theater with my contributions and take unrelated issues onto a political argument. Most people on these pages are only interested in what is happening with their union, the Association and negotiations. Your obsessive bromance is tiring and unproductive. Although there might be a couple that enjoy the entertainment value.

That's the dynamic at the table that few on the TWU side understand.

Why would the IAM run towards a sharpened knife? They stand to lose the same things the TWU fought, for years, to avoid.

Changes to our medical and changes to our scope.

Why would anyone else do anything differently and why would they be expected to.
