JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

I know some are frustrated by the pace of negotiations. I've been in several negotiations over the years with AW, US and now AA. The fact of the matter is that this is a process and I don't personally see any difference in what is occurring here compared to past experiences. I am not at liberty to speak for either the TWU or IAM International's but assure you that they will be involved in the near future.

excuses excuses excuses. local playgrounds are littered with people that can give us more than what we've been getting from this group. the fact that you think that only "some" are frustrated shows how clueless you are about the desires of the majority. most of these "so called" negotiators need to have their butts forced back to the ramp because they have proven their worthlessness. do the membership a favor and stop wasting their time and money. clearly some of you are not equipped to do the job. let go of the reins and stop embarrassing yourself and the membership. there's no shame in telling the truth for once. a little humility goes a long way!

we were told and just told again that lombardo & pantoja have not joined in - as of yet. the guess was those 2 guys will handle the $$$.

the last update talked about disputed articles...etc..so it looks as though that may be the case.

i do believe now that when those 2 enter the talks, we're down to the nitty-gritty..wages.

Why don't you reserve the name calling until you see what is in the contract. As a negotiator, I've seen all the groups before us have buyers remorse for rushing into their contracts. I do not want to see that happen to us, that is why you see both sides, LAA and LUS, being as thorough as possible. I am not in any hurry to bring out a substandard contract.

Curious?

Are you ok with only 7 Holliday's or do you think we deserve 10 like everyone else in the industry including the agents have?

Are you ok with having only 5 weeks vacation or would it be nice if we were restored to 7?

How about OT? The IAM contract gets Double time on second day off and they go in the mix for second day off call in instead of at the bottom. Or are you ok with staying with the way we have it now?

How about SCOPE? Do you think it's ok for management to be able to direct the workforce?

What other things can we think of that maybe those guys in there now should just bend over for so we can see progress on an end of the week update?

While substandard is subjective, I still seem to recall an IBT contract less than a year ago over at UAL that failed in a vote by a 95% no.

I don't expect but no I don't want a repeat of that either.

Take your time. Slow and steady wins the race - that's what the tortoise said. Any outsourcing gets a "no" vote from me. I do not quibble and I do not equivocate.

Just as long as something is in place before next years Benefits Enrollment I'd say.

I think once Harry, Sito and Doug join the talks we're going to see a very expedited process getting to that finish line.

Let's say that they jump in Mid March I'd say the announcement is made TA, Mid April.

I notice you didn't mention sub standard medical insurance choosing instead to suggest that LUS agents should be saving their raise in anticipation of such. BTW if that wasn't the most ridiculous thing I 've ever seen posted here it has to be top 5

By July those people still on the Street since the AA BK and some commuters can maybe come back and get home to their families?

Must really stink for them having to be away from their homes and children for so long?

I bet they aren't concerned about the same things we might be and you'd get a resounding YES vote out of them.

Frankly NO I don't care to be completely honest about it. The reason I don't care is because you don't give a flying Rat about any of our issues from how I read you so why should I (seriously) care about yours?

You have ZERO concern about the 70% of people waiting for this to be concluded for multiple reasons right rat? Be honest with me.

I already have stated my opinion on the Medical enough times already anyway. You went up by $1600.00 per month. Why in the world should I care if you did wind up having to pay another hundred or two? Give me a break.

I bet you also don't give a Rat that YOUR PT Brothers and Sisters pay DOUBLE to prop up your arse?

Spit out your honest greed to me bro.

BTW let's count the rough totals for the collective for the guys here that say they'll vote no if their Medical is touched.

100% Total.
70% LAA all paying the same Medical cost already.

LUS guys 30% of the Total.

70% of them getting a sweet deal.
30% of them getting a crap deal (PT)

Rough estimate probably about 4500 out of 17000 getting that sweet deal.

If the vote was just about Medical alone it's going to be one hell of a lopsided vote man. You no voters are going to be highly disappointed I'm afraid.

The only way Sito and your boy will expedite things is if they cave on items that OUR negotiators are standing firm on. Just my opinion, but think about it

Now I hope you are all thrown into the IAMPF.
