Tremendous 'breakdown' Bob !!

Thanx !!!!!!!!

One more question Bob, please.
Take a station like ONT, with a mere 21 IAM union people in it.
After the joint JCBA, what's the likely hood that ONT stays open as a Union station. Would I be wrong in thinking that, as a Giving of decent raises, AA would be looking for a few 'sacrificial lambs/stations' ??
But they would probably have to open several more, I think there will be a trade off or at least the smaller stations be grandfathered. It looks like majority of the smaller cites are LUS figures they would take the biggest hit.

This is for contract negotiations please go to the water cooler for politics

I was replying to your post below where you brought up politics.

I could just imagine the crying ,holding ones breath till you're blue hissy fit if the shoe was on the other foot. You guys would look like the democrats on election night. I'll go as far as saying 75% of you would be walking around in pull-ups

Irrelevant Al. This has to end at some point. And since the talk mostly concerns that medical item I personally would have girded myself for the worst case possibility out of the 50% worth of raises I've gotten over the last few years.

Roughly $10.00 per hour rise equals $1600.00 per month. Some of that rise your guys should have been socking away against the possibility of going with our Medical plans.

If many of your members decided to spend all of that raise on possibly some frivolous items, you're not going to get any sympathy from me.

And it's still my "guess" that you're not going to pay the cost we pay today but yes you're costs are going to rise and ours will come down a little? (Again just my guess)

We will have the same medical everyone else has.

Yes we will. Just as we do now since the Company is Self Insured.

What you should have said is we will all (In the Association) pay the same rates.

What you should have said is LUS rates will increase LAA's will not

Obviously that's been my assumption for awhile now but I'm not sure if NYer meant to say that he "believes" you will come all the way up to our current costs.

He likes to be ambiguous and play with words.

ASSOCIATION...Stop wasting your time with negotiation updates and wasting my time having to read them.
This last update was so pathetic I'm not even gonna waste everyone else's time by posting it. And now, you do not meet for another two weeks. You put out crap that the big boy's are biting at the bit to get in here to force the company's hand and yet two weeks go by and no word from those two beasts and nothing accomplished. I know, it's all gonna happen at once...Parker and Isom are raising glasses right now going "cheers" while slapping each other one the back. You got them right where you want them...

It's quite unfortunate to see this debacle. The past statements about the big guys going into the negotiations is looking foolish, and I'm sure the company negotiators are laughing pretty hard at that. Errors made earlier are going to be very rough to fix and I'm sure the Association doesn't want to send out any memos saying sorry membership but we really F*****d this up. It is kind of funny to read the updates and think, isn't that the update from 5 months ago?

I know some are frustrated by the pace of negotiations. I've been in several negotiations over the years with AW, US and now AA. The fact of the matter is that this is a process and I don't personally see any difference in what is occurring here compared to past experiences. I am not at liberty to speak for either the TWU or IAM International's but assure you that they will be involved in the near future.
