Al when I first engaged you in conversation you hated the IAM. Hell you hated even Unions it seemed like to me? NOW you're talking about the sanctity and comradrie of the brotherhood?

Sounds to me like it was immediately from how I read it? That letter is all I got.

Honestly no I wouldn't.

#1 because at least on our side the only thing I can see coming is gains and I might be tired of all the traveling.

#2 I would know that I helped write and craft 75% of that language and for the most part from what I've read in the updates it's been gains from the language on both sides. I'd be secure with those accomplishments.

#3 I would have expected that this was coming eventually especially after the raises were given. Like I said it does sound just a little too convenient if we were able to drag this out forever.

#4 I'd like to hope that I was also friends with my Leaders and trusted their judgement to jump in when they felt it was time.

Pre funding was just that. We put our own money out of our checks for a bank to pay for our retiree medical when we retired.

In our contract the company was required to match that amount. (By contract)

Those of us who did not take an early buy out offer and leave the company got back the portion that we put in out of our paychecks but the match portion is still up in the air waiting to see if we eventually get that back, come to an agreement on it, a settlement or a full on future loss of what was put in under our names?
