Actually I think it was your Union pushing very hard and getting very close on that organizing drive that made management there throw money at the workers to shoo the IAM off.

But otherwise you're pretty spot on. I say between $26 to $27 though?

Yep you're getting another Holliday today. So your current extras on Hollidays amount to the tune of $1300.00 (Edit) total more than me yearly.

But we can compare all sorts of things if we want. You live in NYC and have to pay City and State taxes. With your new gross yearly wages that amounts to the tune of $6500.00 more in taxes that you pay that I don't living here in Florida.

Now I can also compare my COL to those in DFW, CLT, PHX and TUL and in many areas it would be me that comes up short.

And the pleasure or displeasure of each negotiator is their business. Otherwise hopefully they're enjoying the long weekend.

I will give my two cents. I listen to what people say when I walk the properties I represent and I read social media sites for insight. Also, I deal with contract language every day and know the issues in some of the language. For these reasons, I personally want to negotiate until this Company realizes that top pay and below average everything else does not make a worthy contract for the biggest and most profitable airline in the world.

I do realize that there are other reasons to getting a contract sooner before later, some being mentioned on this site. However, the rush many seem to be in to get a contract leads me to believe that things that should be in this contract may not be in the final. I just don't want to see what every other group has dealt with, buyers remorse.

Buyers remorse is going to be up to who bought the product. But I absolutely do 100% know and understand your point.

Al there is absolutely nothing wrong with being selfish. It's when people are selfish and won't admit it is where I have the problem.

In your shoes I "could" be pretty selfish myself if I wanted.

Sito is your boy, Harry is ours. I really don't know what they're plan is or where this is going to go?

Depending on the final product I can (doubtful though) be enticed not to buy it.

Hard for you to believe but I want whats best for the majority , Sure I feel for the 5% that commute but they chose to do so. In the early to mid 80s half of our station were commuters they would come here to get full time do you know how many times we let them catch early flights and such. I'm sure no one from LAA is jumping off a roof because LUS has 2 more holidays for now
