First off my wife is happy working at American Airlines. She does not spend her time complaining non stop about how she deserves what other people have.
 
What makes you a fool has nothing to do with you being employed at AA and belonging to a UNION. What makes you a fool is wasting your time and energy complaining about your situation every day on this forum but doing nothing to change it. If I left this forum and came back 5 years later it would be exactly the same conversation. You would be complaining about the company and the UNION and whining about how someone else has better pay or benefits. It never ends.
 
What have you done to change your situation?

I know what I did to change mine. I went to school and I got the hell out of there.
 
But hey, keep complaining on a forum while doing the same things in your life day after day. I am sure eventually that will work out. Sounds like a winning strategy to me.

Yes, you have blanketed unionized employees as fools because they put up with the unions shenanigans. They allow the company and union to abuse their seniority, lock them into jobs. You are former airline employee who thinks someone gives a rats about your advice when in reality, reading through the comments everyone knows you have some issue or a bone to pick and it's falling on deaf ears. Negoiations start this week in DFW    But I think given that the company trying to pull crap regards to the utilization  this JCBA could take longer  but we shall see   good luck to all the team negoiators in DFW this week   give them hell!   no concessionary JCBA

You know that one guy that someone brings to a party that no one likes? He's loud, brash, rude and goes over and annoys others who clearly wish he would move on. It gets to the point where people begin to just leave the party cause they're not having any fun anymore.

Then the next time you decide to throw a party people keep asking you if that guy is going to be there again. You say you're not sure because you're embarrassed to say yes he is going to show up because that's what he does.

So your party winds up being a dud because no one wants to come and you wind up having to throw away a ton of food.

I'm not coming back to the party. Just calling over the phone to let you know why I don't want to come anymore. And the participation rate on this thread the last few weeks tells me I'm not the only one.

Oh, I thought you station manager banned cellphones on the ramp. Weez I got a couple of nasty PMs  from anonymous people who work with you.They didn't paint a pretty picture of you.  From what they say  you can almost be the person at the party you describe. Of course I stuck up for you.
