Like i said, i get that. At some point, i may differ from that and lean some monster pressure on this association. The iam is pretty much at internal standstill due to great division on the intl executive council that will all but shelve progress until after october.

There will be change from within as another will challenge martinez as prez.
A few of us wanted to go as a guest to the international convention but were told that the international said that no guest were allowed, including no retirees as well, since the convention is going to be a complete split as the executive council is boiling over. I suppose it is plausible that this is the reason why the IAM has stalled on your association talks. Anyways, this is the first time that no guest are allowed in.

Any idea which executive council member is going to run against Martinez? This will be the first election, since the beginning of the union, where internal strife within the top brass has risen to a level to force change.

lol. yeah I know. What I don't know is what EC member is running against Martinez.

The biggest facebook group on the internet with over 2,300+ Association members engaging issues and involves debate. The Official Association site will have 2 newly released Videos of intercepted emails, along with an enhanced video of the IAMPF to make sure our members are informed of what is going on. That's the story.

It's time to break a few things off.

This is another page set up by Tim (He does this a lot) where he can control the narrative and will remove any members that don't play the game the way he wants you to play it. It's his board and his rules.

So the moral of this story will read, Stop bring up this crap, and deal with it Tim. I once again will say, I'm not thrill by either Union, but better to have the devil you know, than the one you don't know
Fear of loss is a powerful thing, isn't it?

Kev, Kev, Kev?????? You left this out?????? What you have no comment on it?

"Delta will certainly wipe out kev and all cargo and all stations except maybe atl"

Kev Delta is going to WIPE YOU OUT if you try to get a Union in. Absolutely decimate, destroy, chop you into little pieces if you even open your mouth about a Union.

How sad that something you just said you loved you will NEVER have again.
Weez here at LGA Mainline DL ramp does all their express flights probably 200+ daily, employing hundreds of mainline workers. Does LUS/LAA do that at any (our) hubs? Here's the question, would you rather have some ready reserve or have Eagle personnel work those express flights?

I'd rather we do all express work as well as mainline. UAL according to the contract I read does all of their express work in the hubs. I don't believe they have a lower tier wage scale for that but they do have a 12 year progression to top out like you do on your side.

To gain that work at least in the hubs I would be agreeable to the 12 year scale. (We have a 9 year scale on our side)

And if we did take over the express work I'd like to see an agreement where AA must take the unionized groups workers who are currently performing that work on the comparable level of the pay scale.

I'm still of the opinion that the Association is being weak in not calling out Parker and his lies. The little update(s) do nothing to support their side and Parker has the ears of the company. I'm getting tired of the Ass, Sito and Lombardo remaining silent. More and more members wanting to hear/see our leaders lead. The little TWU unite memo hasn't done squat, just like the Lombardo apologetic letters about the prefunding and 4% raise. Did absolutely NOTHING!

I'd like to hear more as well but I doubt the company would let either union post a video on Jetnet and Lombardo did say in that mailer "more is coming"

You just proved Tim's point. our dues would be used for us not to fund training centers, private jets and B/S jobs
The TWU as I said earlier has been at AA for 70 years (They have a bus) Since Fleet or Maintenance hasn't dumped them in that time frame I doubt to see it now with the coming upswing.

Besides for all the many faults of both Unions and the AFL/CIO, I'd rather be with all of those members than on the outside of that. I wouldn't sign any card for any independent union.

What clout does the AFL/CIO give you now? Remember the size of this airline rules out any future strikes and such. Why do we have to fund private jets etc. You would need to rent a few suites in some of the larger cities retain some type of law firm. In some negotiations the company even picks up the tab. I'm sure there is more to it but definitely something to consider after this mess is cleaned up.

Oh yea. I want the COMPANY picking up the tab. Do they get to hire the Law Firm too?

Besides with all the real "messes" we've gone through in the last 20 years what makes you (honestly) think there will be ANY interest after the members are making 30 beans per hour?
