I think I'm going to delay it again. I want to get a new car and have the insurance in place before they see the six points, by the way its the only ticket
I ever got in my life. I was going to wait for the new contract for the new car but that was a pipe dream
Maybe we could start a Go Fund Me thing.

Tim
You were talking how we could lose our profit sharing if we do not get a contract by a certain date. Why can't the profit sharing be attached to our current contract. Why does the union have to do anything with profit sharing. Does the union have to sign off on the holiday meals the company provides too?

I think Tim is thinking through his booty again!

The company just can't give it to us. Period. That's not how it works. Our representative has to sign off on it. It really doesn't matter because I think all of us expect us to have a TA prior to November 1 anyways. After all the hymmhawing by the IAM about Parker, I still think the Association will just offer up concessions [union rules] and dress up the $30 and PS.
For me, the biggest thing is accountability in this language. The LUS contract accountability is a COMPLETE JOKE. Overtime bypasses are laughable. People can't call in sick without harassment or having to eventually come in and work while sick. There is NO STEP SYSTEM. When there is discipline, it seems as if everyone goes straight to suspension. No steps, no nothing. The grievance system actually BLOWS. The TWU's contract is an absolute disaster BUT I like the idea of paid suspensions. But these rat bastard Labor organizations don't give a shiat about any members and have allowed these airlines to eat their employees alive with the attendance policy. And it seems to me that those with little seniority can walk into work any ole flimsy time or blow off work 8 or 10 times a year and not be disciplined. But old farts get disciplined immediately if they go up a step on the attendance.

The real problem is that the extended delay of close to 18 months due to the Association infighting, and now the sidebar infighting that canceled the last negotiation session as the company told them they need to get their shiat together, it just all sets us back and gives up a lot of leverage as it has now backed us into a time corner instead of already taking care of business. We can't blame Parker if we look at his actions. The exception is our monkeys. They infight and piss and moan with eachother at the top. The negotiation committees are clueless about this and are not involved in the sidebar talks. Weasel keeps saying that the union didn't present and pass scope proposals. That is true but I never said that. The actual negotiation table has very little negotiation taking place. Most negotiations take place when most or all of the negotiation committees are outside the room or in the next building. Remember, in negotiations, the actual table is pretty much just a show in front of those that don't matter. Most of the stuff is handled between 3 people.

The sidebars revealed that the two headed animal is not in sync with eachother so the company wanted both parties to figure things out better and then approach negotiations as One. Unfortunately, the character of the Association has been infighting at the top since day one so I wasn't surprised when Parker sorta laughed and made it sound like the TWU and IAM really aren't together. He is right, it's been tougher negotiating against two. So hopefully the association has learned from its errors and has cleaned things up this week. I hope so.

Credibility is a priceless commodity that can never be bought, it has to be earned.

The Unions don't have to sign off on the PS for it to be distributed. And who says that they didn't sign off on it over a month ago but just didn't need to blow horns and make an official pronouncement?

I can't speak for others but any positive news would be nice. The union can't answer to every rumor but something so contentious as the forcing of the IAMPF could  easily be addressed.

Are you still concerned about my credibility?? Look, watch my videos! I put on extra layers of clothes, have a laundry basket in the video, I drink beer in the video, and I have a 3 day beard. Yet, you still seem fancied with my credibility and basically my post and everything about me including my 'studio' apartment. All I can say is that you ask some pretty stupid questions and I guess you think I actually give a shiat what people think about me. In my latest video collection, I addressed the IAMPF, among other items in the collection that will be broadcast later. My apologies for not putting the IAMPF video up online yet but I am not home to do so as I thought I would be. I'm not high tech to know how to do it from my cell.

It doesn't matter what they put out since it seems some people won't believe them anyway.
