Weez, So I put some pressure on them and they melt. Martinez approves all of that dopey stuff. They made a fake profile and are really handing me this election. It just exposes who they are. Sad.

If I remember correctly last year you received the vote of 8 Districts over that Martinez guy getting 380 (Something like that)

Dude even Jill Stein did better numbers and she lost bad.

But are you saying you believe Martinez made that (Funny) Tom Nelson FB page? It was funny how it said you majored in boys in college, lmao.

I think it shows how juvenile our leadership is. They just break the laws all the time as well. Even Baskett, he doesn't care, he just breaks the law. But I don't tolerate him. I won the case against him late last week and now get to use his network when he dogged me with using union resources. I told him on here and copied and pasted what he said and handed it to the DOL but he didn't listen. I guess nobody can stop him from repeating his violations. I'm investigating Mr Baskett on another item as well which will be revealed pending the investigation. These guys just don't listen. It's called the law and democracy.

"Airline stocks went into a nosedive Wednesday on investor fears that a plan by United Airlines to grow rapidly will undercut prices and profits."

"Shortly after the opening bell, shares of United Continental Holdings Inc. were down 10.2% at $70.05. American, Delta and Southwest also fell." --LA Times

AAL fell 6%.

Fears of lower fairs will put a squeeze on pushing down higher costs which will make these negotiations even tougher and could get longer. o_O

This has nothing to do with what I just said Tim.

So let me get this straight here. Tim you’re running for the IAM International President position. You want to represent skilled Labor in all fields that the IAM is involved with. You want to represent the whole shebang?

Not being facetious here but do you think skilled Machinists who work at Boeing are going to vote for an Airline Baggage Handler with very little qualifications to represent them and run the entire Union?

And who are these other people BTW?

You are correct thanks for the reminders. Numbers don't lie unlike, well nevermind.

I tried to ask CB if the powerstows are being brought up in SCOPE talks and never got an answer. I worry about losing jobs if we are not given a minimum of 2 clerks or at least the option at IAM TWU discretion. Do you think SCOPE will wrap up anytime soon and what are your latest thoughts on how long it will take? I remember last summer you were very frank about the timeline for a deal. I appreciate your answers. Thank you.

gulfcoast1,

We have had discussions about technology and how it affects our work.

That does not sound promising. I would really like to see something about Powerstows in writing. Those things have the potential to replace a lot of us which worries me. I know you have a lot to discuss. I hope that is part of it.

Thank you for the answer.

I don't blame you if you don't want to answer this, but you have given indications in the past about how quickly or slowly things were going and the chances of a TA soon. Do you have anything you can say on that? Thank you again.

Gulfcoast we are getting 30 of those things here In Clt, I share the same concerns you do about them and would like to see specific language about them as well

For what it's worth, the Company counts a Powerstow at between .4 - .5 person on the head count. Be more worried when equipment can stack or unload bins, carts and cans.

What in the world happened to the 4th Quarter numbers with AA? 280 million 4Q profit? Where other airlines have reported above 500 million and even close to 2 billion. Surely the labor cost and increase in cost to run airline did not go up that much in the 4th Q. Something seems wrong here to me.
