The days of strikes are over especially for the big 4 and any job action will be met with a court order in a heartbeat. I do see some on Bookface pounding their chests, it's complete nonsense

Behind the scenes if SWA Management can prove that a strike would not disrupt interstate commerce and they have the replacement workers in line ready, they may let them walk?

Any other group at SWA would probably not get the release but replacing the work of 2000 people nationwide should be a measure of child’s play.

Why do you think after 5 years they still refuse to have even that Strike vote? They don’t want to commit suicide.

Yeah Weez 2000 would probably only take 3 or 4 open houses to fill the vacancies. Or they could hire 500 and farm out the rest.

I’m not joking Al. I’m totally dead serious. The template for how to break their backs has already been written and SWA has even way less Mechanics than NWA did.

Even though they play tough guy on Forums and FB, if they really had to face the reality of risking a 100k job they’d completely S their pants and everyone who counts in those talks knows it.

Yes you would think AMFA would have learned from their own history. I'm sure cooler heads will prevail

Well before AANOTOK pops on here and hits me in the back of the head with a wet noodle for going off topic again (My horrible OCD problem)

Hope to hear from CB and Rez when they get done with the family BBQ sometime this weekend?

BBQ not fair, it was 24 degrees here this morning

Comes a time when enough is enough, five years is way too long.
There is NO way the government even if it had a democrat president would allow a WN strike At the very most they would walk for 5 minutes and have a court order or whatever Presidential ordering them back to work. Even if they tried going by the book there would be a court order and possible suit against AMFA and a union that size isn't exactly flush with cash(even thought WN would probably drop the case)

If WN wants to break them they will tell the NMB behind closed doors to let them strike.

And no one knows what the DOL and NMB will do.
I doubt they would try to break them, 2000 with that size fleet is every airline CEO's dream. They do need someone on the line to change tires and check skydrol.
