Agreed. In my case, it’s as if it’s frozen in amber; no further contributions, no service credit, etc.

I would think it would make sense for the fund to divest those of us in the same boat, but apparently not? I dunno...

Kev when you regain IAM Union status over there at Delta then you should really have that conversation for you and your people about the IAMPF.

It’s just really not cool to try and mess with again our economic decisions we need to make.

I’m sure you would find it offensive if I knocked on your home porch door and told you and your family that your budgeting your expenses wrong.

I’d just laugh and hold up a mirror, since AGAIN you and I have almost the same plans for retirement.

Then I’d remind you that I’m currently in the IAMNPF, and you aren’t (see how that works?).

I beat the “401k is better” drum early and often. The gap is even larger when talking about a multi-employer plan. You must scroll right by those.

It’s no secret I work for an OAL. It’s also no secret that anyone can post on any carrier forum here. The fences people try to construct are just silly; especially when those same people complain about a lack of participation.

I have no problem with your position and I've told you that i appreciate Alex submitting to our iam favorable position.

But I dont want prez or any lus person to be overconfident by assuming if they allow any offer to be ta with a no recommendation that they have enuf juice that people will listen to them. The vast majority will vote this in. There arent more than 40 in ord that care about holding things up to fight for lus health. And there aren't more than 2 in ord out of 1500 that give a rats ass about clt catering.

You have zero pulse in ORD. That would be on the current Local President who is already waist deep in the process of educating his members.

And no one is submitting Timmy. We want cheaper medical and I think I’ve been pretty consistent on here in saying the TWU would support that when the time came up to prove that.

Jeez.

How about you follow your own advice and bud out of our iamnpf. You arent even an iam member either and it isnt your plan. Sorry

Ok and again you knowing that our Company reads here are comforting trying to insert yourself in our Negotiations.

It’s just a little bit trodding on someone else’s grass bro when you have no grass of your own you can walk on.

Why don’t you try to fire up the old Delta Negotiations thread? No one has touched it in over a year now?

Question here. If say the IAMPF is given up in any TA that were to pass what would happen to the money already invested

You’re putting the cart a little before the horse there robbed but even the Company informed that your accumulations would be frozen till you go to collect.

I also think everyone should have a BMW and a 2,000 sqft house. Bottom line is that you aren't being moved to the lus plan. You said it yourself, and all twu people know that truth. In the meantime, i appreciate you kicking the can down the road but don't insult anyone by saying you are going to be placed on the current lus health care. It's actually illogical since i hear all this talk of fighting but please tell us how you plan on fighting if parker tells our negotiators to go F themselves for the next 5 years. And btw, our union cuffed us all by already signing that they won't take any actions. So please stop insulting us by saying you will twist partners arm and gain lus current health.

And if the negotiators do encourage any work action then you can prolly look for parker to squeeze sitos brainless head and shut down 5 twu stations and send pinkslips to 850 ppl iam members and 100 clt members.

Sorry kid, i wish it was better for twu peeps. But at least myself and other iam members can enjoy the spoils of the merger if we all stick together.

Thx WeAA . i overlooked it . i know its early but id thought id ask thats all

Here’s what we know and this shouldn’t be stepping on any toes. The best the Company has shown they can offer any organized workgroup at the Airlines is the Pilots 16% contribution to their 401k account.

16% of a Pilots Gross Wages and 16% of yours and mine are two very different sums of money. So I have to assume our guys would ask for the same thing if they really want to freeze your Pension.

Besides their 401k offer as can easily be proven is not even the best in the industry for Fleet. I believe that prize still lay over at SWA TWU?

What are you a Shakespearean actor?

“Alas poor Yurick, I knew him well”

I’ve never said for a fact (a la Mr “absolute” guy) what’s going to happen?

Now kid relax, take your Meds and calm down. That good Medical of yours should work plenty of miracles keeping you all patched up till you can maybe afford to retire at Seventy. (Wow working till that old just makes me cringe man)

Thats sounds bout right .There is no excuse for any crappy ta to come to members in an era whereas the airlines making billions year over year

No big edits man ok. We only do small edits to correct Grammer and Punctuation here. Big edits can get too easily lost in the weeds.
