Well as of any vote it depends on the percentage that cares to show up and vote as far as the IAM side since we have always had to vote in person. But the current offer by the company would no way pass by 95%, especially with the association explaining it in detail and recommending a NO vote, which is what would happen with this current offer.Thx CB . the company proposal was crap . how it would muster 95% let alone 50 percent is beyond me but remember HP US deal sucked n 42 cities closed up shop
It won’t come out as it is today.Thx cb. I figure that too . that proposal sucks . i cant really imagine it to even come out for vote

NahEasy. Hub guys skip straight to the pay scale, and that’s the end of it.
We as labor have learned to stop taking the long view. We have to fix that.
TrueI sure hope you’re right, but recent history isn’t on your side here.

Nah
Unfortunately our guys on the LUS side through 2 bankruptcies have learned for the most part to look at the details. We tried to tell the AW agents that when we merged. Hopefully they have learned through much pain to also look at the details. So imo it wouldn’t take much explaining of the companies pos offer to get a no vote. But like I said. It won’t come out the way it is now anyway.
As one of those "AW agents", I stated on this forum that my vote was for sale. I was willing to trade my hourly wage for one of the US agents who opposed the T.A., and not surprisingly, no takers. But hey, go figure as it took AW agents 6 years just to make $10/hour, while the US agents were relatively comfortable. Those "short-sighted" AW agents saw 50% pay raises and this idea of somehow the Company thought contractors were cheaper than AW agents was a fallacy as the contracting company were charging more which was why there were so many stations.
What a freaking mess. The majority of the members are getting screwed daily and I see no end in sight. This has become more than ridiculous. As of today, there has been no commminication between the association and company on future dates for negotiations.
The Company's Jetnet proposal, followed by their infomercial drew hundreds of comments from the members. They were also attacked by Association updates daily. What has happened, why are we no longer hammering them daily. Again, Parker comfortably stood up there with his ilk and stated you're getting the best. Why not keep up the offensive. It won’t come out as it is today.
If a person can’t bring themselves to ultimately except the will of the majority in a group collective, maybe they shouldn’t even be a part of a Union in the first place?
...Says the guy who’s on record as saying workers in line stations should make less...
