Careful on that one. Company may chose not to fill some of those spots (upgrade PT) and utilize OT and PT extentions depending on that language and then conduct their count after?

I agree, but if they can’t agree now, adding something that benefits us pushes it even further away from a TA...I’m sure there would be additional language to what I have posted...likely a very fluid part of the article...

The idea of a buyout for those of us who remain behind is that it grows opportunities for Seniority advancement. PT to FT and FT to better shifts and days off. While I absolutely agree with your point on adding something pushing it out even further. What would be the point in any language if the Company had a back door way to circumvent the intention of that language in the first place? (Strong letter of intent needed for this one IMO)

Just wanted to make a point for our guys to be mindful of.

Meanwhile in PHX they are expanding south Terminal 4 (American terminal has North 1-3) with the expectation of Southwest moving into the area. The former (south) Terminal 4 Southwest gates to be used as CUTE or for other airlines with the closure and demolition of 1950's-era, Terminal 2. Although American continues its aggressive PHX flight expansion with Eagle into new markets of LBB, ROW, SAF, STS, etc.

Move along... nothing to see here.

I remember in Ancient History when AE occupied that Satellite Terminal, then they moved to low A before moving over to the B Terminal.

Seems to me that moving AE (Envoy) back over to the Satellite has an operational motivation attached to it maybe opening up the B side back for Mainline traffic.

No fear mongering but I would definitely keep at least one eye open.

You hit it on the head Weez... I've noticed his "Company Wants" comments repeatedly. He knows more about what the Company wants, than what the Membership wants!

Ask yourself this question-- How does he know so much about what the Company wants? How can he post on various sites (including this one), around he clock 24/7, and supposedly work fulltime, and overtime?

This whole thing smells like a traitor working as a double spy...

Weezy has been at MIA since (2010?)

JFK will stay around to be sure. But I do agree it’s role has considerably diminished. But being in the TWUs hometown I am sure they’d give away anything and everything in making a deal with the company to get some special language for that station and at least some of those jobs.

Yea but at least some or many of those people will just wind up over there at LGA. And that LGA project has still got many years out in front of it.

Construction is moving along.There will have to be openings at LGA for people to simply come over .Slotted airport you ad a LAX flight you take away a RDU and so on

I don’t mind conversing with Management or the Trolls they have on here but it’s the tactics they use here that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
