Your guess is correct Weez...
The Pilots' (or any other represented work-group) are negotiating for themselves, NOT other work-groups...
Especially, when they are UNREPRESENTED groups -- In this case, it was just prior to Fleet organization, and representation.
ALPA actually lobbied the Co to possibly outsource other groups including Fleet, that were unprotected BEFORE they would negotiate.
I posted this to remind the idiot ant-union posters here, that not only are you prey to the Company, you are also prey to represented groups like ALPA etc. when you are not part of the organized workforce.
Anyone that thinks they would be fine without a Union is working for the other side... PERIOD!

There does seem to be some people here on this Union Contract Thread who are anti-union and I don't get it either. I work Union and support Unions in other areas of my life. My Union Job has been good to me. There have been setbacks, but I am convinced they would have been worse without a union.
