i also saw Attachment B for the Lump Sum Mechanics are not listed. Does anyone know why??
Section B under Pay Increase/Pay Slotting. Some will lose pay in base rate so they are being compensated until they reach TOS..

I understand that. The Mechanics are also getting a Lump Sum because the new pay rate became effective Aug 5th and the company needs time for our paychecks to reflect the new pay scale. There talking November. In the meantime were getting a Lump Sum. I would like to know how much the lump sum will be.

The new rates are equal to Delta’s newest rates + an additional 3 percent (MTS and MLS rates are equal to UA+1 percent at Top of Scale), and are the highest hourly wage rates amongst your network peers. The new pay is effective immediately. We have a number of programming changes to complete to get the new rates and pay scales implemented, but the pay increase will be retroactive to today with a lump sum paid out to cover the period between date of signing and the pay rate implementation. Put into real terms, more than 75 percent of Tech Ops employees will see approximately $17,000 more in their pay annually while negotiations of other important contract elements continue. Groups who were moved into the Association post-merger will also receive these increases.

I'm figuring about $4300.00 gross. That's just my swag though, ymmv.

Does anyone know how much would the Crew Chief/Lead pay be???
I understand that the Crew Chief  premium is to remain the same under this wage adjustment.
However a E-Board member told me today that it is being discussed in negotiations.

I count 64 working days in that 90 day time frame which runs till 11/03.  Figuring an 8 hour shift with a difference of $9.13ph times 8 comes out to $73.04 per day with the pay increase.  Take that same $74.04 times 64 working days, and you come up with a little more - $4674.56

Sorry for intrusion but here's an update from our negotiations this week:

AMFA - SWA Technician Negotiations Update #44
August 11, 2016 -- We heard from you, the members, at the outset of these negotiations that you were not interested in a concessionary agreement. Your Committee has maintained that position and protected your directive throughout this process. The proposal presented by the Company this week was nothing short of just that – a concessionary agreement whereby you would fund your own raises by selling your language. The Company wants us to sell our work, our ability to earn overtime and quality of life work rules wholesale in order to fund the economic package you will see in this update.

No intrusion! Everyone should see what Professional Representation updates look like.

Reading the cross utilization language, it only applies on the line. However I`m willing to bet we see LUS metal in our humble DWH hangar.
